OpenAI is gearing up for a series of meetings next week with Hollywood studios, talent agencies and media executives to pitch filmmakers on the integration of its AI video generation tool Sora, Bloomberg reported on Friday.
TheWrap learned that OpenAI had meetings with the talent agencies earlier this month. According to the Bloomberg report, “OpenAI scheduled introductory conversations in Hollywood led by Chief Operating Officer Brad Lightcap.”

I'm curious to see if the first use of this tech looks better than the current CGI we get. I always hate when they switch to an obviously digital version of people for cartoonish action sequences. Hopefully this fixes that.
I'm also curious to see how agencies react to this. To me the first easy win for both sides is to get actors agree to have AI dub their voice and likeness for different language versions of the films they make. The original actor gets paid more and the studio gets to distributed a dubbed version that doesn't need subtitles and doesn't sound dubbed, so it will be seen by way more people worldwide.

Yeah that won’t have unintended consequences at all.
