Not saying he will win it, but Leo should easily be able to at least score a nomination for Best Actor. Dude was on his A game for this film.
Maybe Best Director, Screenplay, and Film for Tarantino.
Brad Pitt could get a nomination too.
But knowing the Academy and their BS agenda, who knows

What are you talking about?
Tarantino, his films, and many of the actors in them have won or been nominated before.

I'm the world's top Leo fan but I thought Pitt was better in this movie. That said, I'd definitely nominate Leo, Pitt, QT and the film for Oscars.

No shite. That was before the SJW era. Hateful Eight was amazing and it got shite for nominations or awards. It’s not 1994 or 2009 anymore.

Pitt far outshined Leo in the movie for me too. Pitt was no supporting actor either, he had more screen time than Leo Id bet. The fault in Pitts performance is that he was only playing a more badass version of himself, it wasnt that much of a stretch.
Leo was/is the better actor but it wasnt as entertaining a performance compared to Pitt's.

I think it's pretty much a shoe in for these nominations:
Best Actor
Best Picture
Best Director
Best Original Screenplay
Best Supporting Actor
ETA: Considering IB, DU, and HE all scored cinematography noms, I'd considered this a lock nom as well

You're reaching.
Django Unchained had 5 nominations and a win
Hateful Eight had 3 and a win

Leo did more with his role. All the on set scenes and him trashing the trailer were the best stuff in the movie
Pitt is just so damn good at being cool that he owned the movie

Leo and Pitt split their votes.
Joaquin Phoenix gets the win.

I feel like they will give Leo the Lead nomination and Pitt the supporting nomination but I feel like that should be reversed or both on the lead nomination

I bet Margot Robbie gets a nom for portraying Sharon Tate even though she hardly had any lines - that's the kind of thing the Academy loves.
The whole Bruce Lee controversy will likely torpedo anything else.

Pitt>>>Leo. Would love to see Best picture but two white male leads pictures aren't winning any more.
