Because ive googled and scrolled back about 5 pages. Amazon says it's the #1 series on prime right now

Just checking to make sure there wasn't a collective agreement not to discuss it or something

Ten episodes of easily the most toxic, racist hate-porn ive ever seen. Simply back breaking. Directed by a gentleman who goes by the name "Little Marvin", if that name rings any bells. It didn't to me

I'm not sure why or exactly when my wife and I committed to grinding through it. I guess around episode 3

I honestly still cant grasp its cultural significance. It views like a call to arms, to be honest. If there were a way to depict white people as a whole as more insidious and inherently rotten and evil to their core, im not aware of it

Didn't Amazon have another show somewhat like this where they were hunting nazis.

The entire thesis of the show makes no sense to me. Given what black people assume about white people, why is this family moving into an "all-white" (as if that exists) neighborhood in Los Angeles.

Of course, communities have been integrating for at least the last 60 years; this is hardly novel.

EDIT: Oops, I see this took place in the 1950's...nothing like never letting the injustices of the past go.

I thought Amazon had made a series on gigantic, nuclear radiated ants. I am disappoint...

Spoilers:

So ill give you my loose interpretation. Which is as cornbread white as it comes I guess

The guy is WWII vet. Who comes home from fighting bravely and gets an engineering degree from a local college in rural NC. He has 3 children and while he's at the movies one fine day with his 2 daughters some deliverance type hicks come rape his wife and beat his newborn to death swinging it wrapped in a sheet like a bag of laundryfor no reason. So they move out west in the "great migration". To an all white Compton neighborhood, for maximum irony I suppose. But his entire neighborhood of dysfunctional bizarre crackers completely lose their shite. They kill the family dog, torture them, hang the husband just short of death, wife is placed an an asylum etc. These white people are basically orcs crawling up from the depths of Mordor to poison everything in their path. It left me hating white people too

Thank you. That's all I need to know.

Curiously, "Little Marvin" hasn't done anything really associated with film in 15 years. And this is what he springs on us.

I am not philosophically lined up with the Q-tards crowd like a lot of TD. Even that show looked like garbage to me based on the preview and reviews

It started out great, and then totally went off the rails about the time Betty went out to the milkman's dairy farm.

As antagonists go, however, the Tap Dance Man is about as brilliant as they come. That was an amazing character.

Saw the preview, thought it was a supernatural thriller. These days when I see a movie or show with black people as the main characters I just assume it's going to be about racist white people so I had no interest. Looks like my assumption was right.
