For those that have seen it, how "kid friendly" is it? I know it is PG-13, but that can be pretty tame to almost "R".

Not too worried about violence (I doubt there's any gore here). Moreo concerned about sexual content and cursing.

there's an F bomb or two in there

and sexuality wise.........well, i'm not sure how to classify that one. there is one scene that some may deem to be provacative, but would be pretty tame in the mind of others.

We have a $5 midnight show special here in Tallahassee, so it was def. worth it.

Which theater does this? Do they do it on a regular basis? I like catching the AMC 20 during the week because the tickets are only $5 before 6 pm.

It made perfect sense too... if you know the back story to that character and his real age in the comics.

Well that gave it away.

I was there and fantastic movie! Maybe the best of the X-Men films tbh, certainly back up to par with the first two at least.

It had something which makes X-Men possibly the most difficult live action film to make...character development for a number of people. Sure you know going in that it's about Magneto and X, but it focuses on other's alot too. Also the story seems to tie together much more than say X3 and it all makes sense.

As far as family films go, eh maybe not. Obviously lots of violence, some cursing, and some blood.

If you're a fan though I'd suggest going check it out, you won't be disappointed. There's a couple cameos, one that had the whole audience cheering and clapping.

Crucifictorious forever

Saw it last night and it has been a long time since I enjoyed a movie as much as this one. I could have watched a whole movie of Erik Lehnsherr: Nazi Hunter or Xavier/Magnetto as cold war spies. The movie sort of falls apart in the last act (similarly to the last act of Batman Begins) but as a history geek I didn't mind the spectacle and I thought it did a good job setting up a sequel.

Regal by Governor's Square. It's Monday - Thursday = $5, and the midnight showings count as Thursday.

Did y'all think it was better than X2? I sure did. I think it blew X2 out the water

I definitely think it did. It was a different take on X-Men from the previous movies, and it was awesome.

ETA: I don't think it blew it out of the water, but it was better.

Defiantly. It isn't a complete reboot of the film's continuity but outside of cameo's and side references it stands alone.
