shite. Did a $5.00 Matinee.

It's brutal.

For a date, $23 for the tickets, $9 for coke + candy. Usually I just sneak shite in.

Try to do matinees when I can too... this theatre has a "steal" of like $8 if you go before noon.

**Spoilers**

Emma Frost and Betty Draper, acting wise, couldn't tell the difference. I was expecting Don Draper to appear at any second and start arguing with her.

I didn't like the edit cut away when Betty/Emma was unzipping her suit for the Russian general.

Charles probably didn't like Erik using him in order to kill Shaw. If you remember, Charles was keeping Shaw from moving or doing anything while Erik did his coin trick.

23 bucks? dang.

my theatre is 5 bucks a ticket anytime before 6 o'clock. so obviously i went to the 5:45 showing.

I'm pretty sure it's so cheap because you get the choice for premium d-box seating. obviously i say no to that.

So I guess I'm really late to the table on this one. I'll say 8/10, much better than I expected. Fassbender's performance elevated this from a good popcorn flick to a great one in my opinion. Sure, there are some problems, but the fact that a "comic book movie" of this caliber can happen this deep into the cbm craze is pretty amazing.

What makes this movie memorable is the final Magneto/Shaw scene. I haven't been pulling for a bad guy to commit murder like that since maybe Silence of the Lambs.
