What the frick does that have to do with anything? They are at least five miles from anything. Zombies aren't going to be able to zero in on a rifle shot from that far. The house is in the middle of no where. If a random walker came straggling by and they shot it, it wouldn't be the end of the world, pun intended.

Again, the black guy shot the zombie in the streets of a neighborhood in the pilot and they weren't over run.

Agreed. Pretty sure the "oj" was white and actually milk.

May have been milk. I guess I was just thinking about getting juice when I donate blood.

Samne. Plus, it would make more sense to have a stash of OJ rather than milk.

I just went back and checked the dvr. It's definitely orange looking on my tv.

Regardless it doesn't matter. I just figured I would find something to bitch about like everyone else.

Idk. I don't think the best thing is to let out shots everytime a walker gets close. That being said...I'm sure they have some other defense methods we're not thinking about.

Yeah the one chick killed that zombie with a bat off horseback.

If I lived there I would be rigging up all kinds of zombie defense mechanisms....... After I got finished picking oranges.

I'm thinking a tractor to dig a giant ditch(Say 20ft deep) would work.

Since zombies aren't smart enough to climb or jump or anything like that, I figure a simple 8 strand barbed wire fence would be pretty effective at stopping them. Sure, eventually enough of them would probably pile up behind it to break it, but it would slow them up for a good while at least.

Hell yes. I would def want a moat.

Hawgon, I believe they did have a barbed wire fence up. When the Green girl brings Lori back on the horse, you can see it and see them pass thru the gate.

That fense would protect them against a single walker, but any large group would get through that sooner or later.

Zombie's can indeed climb, it just takes them some time to figure it out. A moat however, would be great, because they cannot swim.

And how do you plan on acquiring this moat? Going to dig it with shovels and make it deep enough/wide enough to keep zombies out?

When will you have the time? The man power? Not to mention you would be completely physically exhausted everyday, making you an extreme liability when it comes to fighting off/running away from zombies

Who needs to swim when you can walk under water?

true, but as long as you have a vertical face to the moat, they won't be able to make their way up from the bottom. Though, I guess, with enough zombies, they may make a zombie bridge eventually.

No need to fill it with water. Just dig it 20ft deep and let them pile up. Sooner or later just have a controled burn.
