Watched both episodes last night so I'm caught up.
I feel like Christina has a pretty legit team so far, and that pisses me off because she sucks. Hard. She's a complete count when it comes to talking shite to Adam (Justin Timberlake wannabe?), and she talks too fricking much. I'd bet money that she causes so much bullshite behind the scenes.. Also read on tylerdurden that she makes them reshoot her only from angles that don't make her look fat, which is awesome.
Once again, Blake is so weird about when he pushes his button. And Adam usually only pushes his button when Cee-Lo does.
I love how their excuse for everybody not getting picked is "pitchy."
Carson Daly sucks. And I damn sure don't need to see him yelling at the TV "SOMEBODY HIT YOUR BUTTON!!!11!!1" over and over.
The chick who sang the "Say Ah" song sounds just like that Xenia chick from last year. I'm surprised Blake didn't make a stronger play for her.
Cee-Lo is still a creepy bigmidget. I hate how he hits on everything that moves. And his hands still weird me the frick out.
The Prince thing was better than I thought it would be, but Adam on the guitar was just out of place for some reason.
Solid first two episodes though.

And the black dude backup singer for AK wasn't anywhere NEAR as good as I was thinking he would be. Also, I thought it was weird that they showed the video of AK wishing him luck, and she was like "Hi, it's Alicia Keys..." No shite, Alicia. He's been a backup singer for you for a while apparently. I think he knows you. But that kinda showed that she really doesn't know who he was.

I agree that the sob stories are dragging the show out too much as well. And the show is falling into the Jersey Shore habit of coming back from commercial and the first minute or two is recapping everything that happened right before the commercial. It's like 5 minutes of actual new shite between commercial breaks. And I feel like that's only gonna get worse.
The judges were on the Ellen DeGeneres show last week (well, everyone but Cee-Lo who was preparing for the Super Bowl), and apparently Randy Jackson from AI said something along the lines of "AI rejects go to The Voice to make it" or some shite. Here's an article talking about it: LINK

disappointed Desi didn't make it. My kids are in the same theater company he was in. Can't believe they didn't pick him.

Somebody nailed it earlier...seemed like he rolled in there all cocky and has always gotten by on his good looks and whatnot, and his voice just wasn't up to snuff to make it on this show.
Though I think that if they end up going to re-tryouts to fill teams, he could get a shot if the judges remember who he is (now that they've seen him), because it seems like they would've kept him for his "look" rather than just his voice.

He definitely had a slightly bad moment in that song. It was either Adam or Xtina that was abou tto hit the button and then his voice slightly cracked on a high note. They never moved after that. I thought he was just as good as AK singer dude though.

I wasn't very impressed with the AK singer either but I think he A) picked a much better song and B) put a lot more "feeling" into it. He won't win so it really doesn't matter. You really have to WOW them to get in. The Shreveport kid was pretty generic compared to the other contestants.

Which is the biggest reason I like this show. They're making picks solely on the sound of a person's singing voice. Absolutely brilliant premise.

I don't get how they didn't pick the guy from Shreveport and the guy with the hat and long hair, but they ALL picked the duet. That duet was fricking terrible. Were they tone deaf for one song?
