Dude what the hell happened in that episode?
Sarsguard wasnt helping himself too much. I'm under the impression that he killed his wife. Is that fair to say?

Certainly possible, but I'm thinking the "reveal" in the final episode will connect the killer (not Mills) to Seward and/or his wife.
Really, though, frick if I know.

Such a good show.
No way Seward did it imo.

I'm saying Darren Richmond is the killer. BOOM! muthafrickas.

That would be impressive.
Didn't he become governor? Would have been interesting if he issued a pardon.

but I am really perplexed about that whole notion where the guard's kid shot that guy in the front yard....did I dream that? Why? What does that have to do with the show?
It was a small plot device. That's why he couldn't put the hood on Seward despite how hardcore he had been against him all this time. It was as if he was looking at his son (who had just killed someone himself) and having to execute his son. If that makes sense at all.
I don't really see Koteas as the killer though. Maybe the cellmate or it'll all end up tying to Mills somehow.

I'd be lying if I said I didn't cry when he saw his son.
That was one of the better written episodes of TV I've seen in quite sometime. And while I understand why they did I pity some of the people who totally gave up on the show and have gotten to watch this season. It's been wonderfully acted. Anyone who has a beef with this season at this point just has an agenda IMO.
They've really redeemed themselves from any bumps in the road they had in writing in the previous two seasons (moreso Season 1 obviously).

That was one of the most gut-wrenching hours of television I have seen. It was just brutal, and another example of how amazing this show can be. These last three episodes have been superb, but this episode is going to stick with me for a while.

Holder's old partner before Linda came back is my guess
Holder's old Partner was there when the girl with the missing finger escaped the hospital, he's the one who found(Planted) the box of rings, he has a job(Cop) that enables putting fear into people(Kid) afraid to talk, and that cop is a pricked too.....LOL This all could've be done to throw us off, but I'm sticking with Holder's old partner before Linda came back.
Great 3rd season, and it's bringing attention to a subject that needs major attention.
Edit: I think Holder's old partners name is Carl Reddick.

Didn't Holder's partner also take the call when Bullet called the station looking for Holder?

How did bullet get in mills trunk if the partner did it?

I'm guessing Holder's old partner uses his cop powers to use criminals or scare people. The reason the cab driver asked so many questions to those teen girls in that hidden room. Was because it was sorta like a serial killer job interview to see who wouldn't be missed much. Holder's old partner watched the interviews and made his target list from that info. The sick cab guy got to abuse girls in that hidden room, and then the Holder's sick partner gets to serial kill them too. Guess it's an everyone wins thing in their sicko world view.
Hmmm...... I've never thought about this until right now but Holders old partner might of been using Seward too. The kid probably saw his dad come back to confront Holder's old partner but it was to late. He had already killed his Wife and then Holder's partner told him. If you ever talk, you're kid dies.

Oh yeah, I forget about that.....
One thing I'd like to know though
Are they going to end this case this season?
I sure hope so.......

It completely makes sense
I just think it's a stretch at best, especially for a TV show

That was brutal to watch. Saarsgard should definitely get some Emmy consideration.

I knew when I kept seeing this thread pop back up to the top of the page that the episode was going to be great, and man, that was an understatement. I'm in circles about who I think did it; I was liking the head guard for it, but the former partner is making sense, reading all of these posts. I think back to when they were at the hotel and he was doing anything he could to leave. Just wow, what a superb season (this is the first season I've stuck with).

It's whole damn season has been incredible. It might be an over reaction, but this has been one of the best single seasons of TV I've seen outside breaking bad or the sopranos or dexter with trinity.
