Who else would they include that would be considered all star? Swaggy said no. Bayleigh said she is focusing on the Challenge. I doubt anyone wants to be known as the token black person right now, so I am sure others have turned them down as well.

Paul is a lock, which I will hate. They couldn’t have tried any harder to gift him a trip to the finals in 19.

We'll see. I hope they don't cast someone that is clearly not an all star just to fill a quota. But like I said, I will be shocked if there is only one black person in this cast.

Why is CBS so obsessed with Paul? How many times does this guy have to come in 2nd before people realize he's a hated, spoiled douche?
A better all-star cast should've included Vanessa Rousso, Cody Calafiore, etc. Da'vonne is hardly an all star.

Danielle Reyes is a good answer as an additional black contestant who is actually "all-star" caliber. Of course, it's been 15 years since she last played so who knows if she still has it. Marcellas would qualify under this as well considering he's not the best gamer but had a super long association with the game (hosting the call in show for years after he was on both times).
Is Kaycee black (or partially black)? I don't think she's very entertaining but she did win her season so that qualifies her as well.
Only other black contestants I could argue that should qualify as "all-stars" would be Monica from season 2 (made final three and was quite memorable) and Kevin from season 11 (final three, pretty good strategically, not a great character to watch).
When you put it out there, it's really kind of ridiculous how poorly they've cast black contestants. They always go for the same type of black female (either mouthy and rude OR overly Christian and lacking game sense) so those are both unlikely to be a threat to win. For men, they've cast different types (think Lawon in 13 versus Devin in 16 versus Howard in 15), but really no one who has had game sense. It's funny because David last year definitely seemed to know the game, but because they created a twist to eliminate someone on night one, he never had a chance to even play.

I actually like this cast more than the other even though I truly loathe Bayleigh as a person and player and think Josh is a reason to change the channel.
You have a nice mix of newer seasons with old. Unless I'm mistaken, the only person who hasn't played with someone else on the cast would be Daniele Donato, but I think she's pretty connected among alumni so she should be able to mix with some of the older players.
Favorites to win in my opinion would be Hayden, Tyler, and Ian.
ETA: Just realized Nicole from 21 hadn't played with anyone before either. Liked her fine but don't know if I'd consider her a threat to win.

A very solid cast with people who will be in there to win and not play the showmance bullshite game that the show has turned into.
Excited to see Ian back in the house. From his exit message to Boogie to beating Dan with his speech in the finals, he's an underrated player and hopefully he can find a way to make it far.

I'm surprised that they'd even consider having Paulie back on after his meltdown before he went out. His last week was some truly crazy live feeds. I wonder if Paul and him would even try to work together.
