Test all the cast. If anybody tests positive, quarantine for two weeks. Then send them in the house and start the show.
Seems pretty simple to me. Theyre already set up for the bubble concept

Right, a positive test shouldn't matter. That's why they quarantined for two weeks before the show.

Evil Dicks Twitter
Here is the latest rumored cast by Evil Dick that will probably also not be true.
Doubt it's true because it's ED who just posts anything, but getting Memphis, Keesha and even Kevin would prove to be interesting. I like that none of them have played a second time yet. Also they're all older. I think Memphis is the youngest of those three and he's got to be pushing 40. None are my favorite houseguest, but you know they're going to come to play for the win. Much better to me than Josh's annoying arse and Kaycee (who seems like a fine person but I never found very entertaining).

Me too, but BB gossip on twitter just posted the exact same cast. But, by this point, who knows.

I thought CBS was supposed to have some kind of announcement today.. Did I dream that?
I guess the Wednesday interviews are fricked as well?

The stay tuned Monday tweet was deleted. The Wednesday interviews were taken off as well. Looks like the shuffling put a hold on that, but the start date has remained the same.

Not on an “All-Star” cast IMO. He definitely gave off a good vibe that first episode like he knew what was going on but in no way should a person evicted first from BB show up on an All-Star cast.

Yeah I honestly want to see what David can do. Think he’ll do really good on the second go round. He got screwed the first time

I always think people get too worked up over the “All Star” label.
It just sounds better than “Returning Players”.
It’s not a HOF ballot. It’s just trying to collect players that people like and think will make an interesting season.
David got screwed on a weird twist day 1. I definitely think he deserves a second shot and honestly think he’ll be in a good position because no one will see him as a threat and most of the players will probably find him sympathetic based on how he went out.
I think he’ll go far.

I have a hard time thinking he isnt first out again. All the other house guests have friendships going back years and have been pre-gaming. Is anyone doing this with David?

It’s certainly possible, but the other players will also have rivals/people they think they won’t be able to work with that they will likely want to target earlier.
David isn’t a threat for the very reason that he doesn’t have those built in connections. He also will be seen as a potential number because he is disconnected.
Valid or not, there is also the optics of targeting him first in today’s political and social climate, especially since race was speculated as a reason he went out first last season as well. Again, whether that was valid or not, I just don’t see many of these very aware players inviting that type of controversy over a player that won’t be deemed a threat.
Given the cast list, I’d say if any newer player is at risk of going early it would be Bailey and Tyler, as they have a contentious history and will definitely see each other as someone that they can’t work with long term.
With that built in conflict, and the fact that they are two of the newer players, I wouldn’t be surprised to see the two of them nominated first if neither wins HOH.
Because Bailey is also black, I expect to see Tyler make a major push to connect with Davonne and David early as allies to insulate himself from any possible racial criticisms for targeting Bailey early or in the hope that they will help rally the house for votes for him since some may be hesitant to vote out a black person first.
The problem for Tyler is Bailey will already have some level of common ground with Davonne based on their Challenge experience and relationships from that show, and Bailey and David share the newer contestant history as well, so using them to target her will be an extremely tricky move to pull off.
The more I think about it, Tyler is going to have a very tough go in this cast. He’s a newer contestant so doesn’t have the same connections you mentioned about David, and is seen as a major strategist and deceptive. He also lost his biggest ally in Kaycee already.
He is going to have to hope for an early HOH or POV win week 1 to give him time to form relationships and sell himself as an asset to survive the early weeks or he will be a huge target early imo.
Will be fun watching him work, but the deck is stacked against him imo.
His best strategy is probably trying to convince the house to go after Ian and Nicole first as they are the only two winners now if Josh and Kaycee are out.
That should be a pretty easy sell to most of the house, and unless I misremembered I don’t think either of them have allies from their seasons on the cast, though I’m sure they’ll have some off camera friendships from being vets. And if there’s any truth to Nicole running to production to keep Dan and Derrick out, that could have some people against her early anyway.
But those are the two paths I see happening week 1, either Tyler vs Bailey or Ian vs Nicole as the big storylines/vote blocs.

So eight days out and they're scrambling to get a cast of 16 together. This is playing out about as expected.
Posted on 7/28/20 at 8:33 am to AHM21
they really should rename this season and wait for all-stars when they can get the right group.
Posted on 7/28/20 at 9:24 am to MorbidTheClown
I'll preface this with-- I know this will NEVER happen...
But could you imagine an All-Star couples season and how great that would be?
Cody/Jessica
Jeff/Jordan
Rachel/Brendon
Holly/Jackson
Dominic/Danielle
Nicole/Victor
Tyler/Angela
Bayleigh/Swaggy
Just sayin... It would be entertaining.

The problem is that they will never be able to get "the right group". Getting older cast members to be able to free up a whole summer (getting off of work, kids, etc.) is almost impossible. If ever there was a year that they could do it would've been this year with the virus freeing up a lot of people's schedule. But when Dan and Derrick (and yes, even Paul) decided to drop out, the group was never going to be all-star worthy.
