So what the hell happened? I went to bed last night and it was a sure thing that Zach was going and everyone was weary of Frankie/Christine, and now Zach is staying and Frankie/Christine are trustworthy. I swear I think production has a bigger influence on the game than what people are led to believe.

I tuned in in the middle of the conversation. They were ganging up against nicole/hayden and decided to keep zack.. apparently Derrick thinks Nicole and Hayden are playing them, and convinced Cody of that. He thinks him, cody, zach, christine, and frankie are unbeatable. Cody tells Christine that Nicole and hayden were coming after her and Frankie after they got Zach out. Christine was shocked and everything, but came around and believed him. They all met, sans Zach, and concluded they want to keep zach to stick it to Haycole and keep hoh odds in their favor. Donny was mentioned a little about being in cahoots with haycole and at one point was suggested by cody to be the mastermind behind it all.
Later on Frankie went to Hayden and told him the plan is still to evict Zach and that it would be a unanimous vote. (lol)
Nicole told Jocasta that she will be shocked if she (Jocasta) is voted out. Nicole says she is definitely safe. (lolagain)

They then went talk to zach:
Frankie to Zach- Hayden and Nicole are actively working to get you out. We are all blindsiding them tomorrow. Hayden, Nicole, Donny
Zach- So it's going to be 5-3? Frankie- Or 6-2 with Victoria. Caleb- That is going to draw the line
Derrick to Zach- Victoria is not going to vote you out. I'm going to make sure of that
Zach asked if they have to worry about Christine. Derrick, Frankie and Caleb said no. Frankie told Zach to stop saying that
Derrick- Christine has nowhere to go. She has to stay with us. Zach- So we're golden
Derrick to Zach/Caleb/Frankie- We're going to play it off like "we only kept Zach cause he's the bigger target
Zach to Frankie/Caleb/Derrick- I wont say anything but thank you so much!
Derrick tells Zach that nominating any combination of Hayden, Nicole and Donny is fine
Zach leaves
Frankie to Derrick/Caleb- Everything that we were so scared of him (Zach) doing became correct
Frankie to Caleb- We all know that he (Zach) is a loose cannon but he is loyal somewhere in there
Derrick is again having second thoughts on blindsiding the others. He thinks that telling them that Zach is staying may be better
Frankie goes to Zach
Frankie to Zach- Zankie survives another day
Frankie to Zach- This was a real group effort. If Derrick and Cody believed them...we were fricked
Frankie to Zach- We have to be so strong. We have a common enemy. Everyone has to put their differences aside
Zach- If it's double evict should we go Jocasta/Hayden? Frankie- I think we should go Donny. Without Donny, Nicole & Hayden are blind
Frankie to Zach- Donny believed every word Devin said to him. Donny knows everything and has been playing us all
Frankie to Zach- Hayden and Nicole are actively working to get you out. We are all blindsiding them tomorrow. Hayden, Nicole, Donny

I get what you're saying, except that turning on Nicole and Hayden means he's added to their list as well and possibly shoot's up Donny's. Should any of these three win HOH, Derrick has now become a very real replacement nominee possibility.
Before everything went down last night, Zach was going home AND Frankie/Christine were totally OK with it. Derrick could have voted Zach out and remained off every house guest's radar. He has made his move with 11 people left when he could have been perfectly fine making it with 9 people left - where he'd know who was eliminated during the live show and who is the current HOH.
Of course, maybe he's just supremely confident that he beats whomever he is up against during a potential vote; and he may be right at the moment. No need to show his cards this early though.
TL/DR. I think Zach leaving would have negligible effect on Derrick's current standing. It makes more sense to pick a side when you have more information and less house guests to worry about. Voting Zach out and waiting until the 2nd HOH competition is over tonight would provide Derrick with the best opportunity to pick which half of the house works best for his end game.

Usually their highest rated episodes of the season. Definitely the most exciting episodes of the show. Will do one more in a couple of weeks.

Funny, because two nights ago, all I saw was Frankie and Christine in Nicole's ear. Derrick and Cody are being played by Christine and Frankie.
I want Zach to stay and Frankie to leave tonight. If that happens, the house will be fun to watch.

Production must have gotten involved. Derrick was pumped the other night when he was sitting good with both sides of the house. Now I wouldn't be surprised if Hayden puts both he and Cody up if he wins hoh. I didn't think Derrick would make a move like that.

You don't quite understand how much time these people have on their hands.
All they do is sit around all day every day crunching scenarios in their head. This late in the game when they can start to taste the money, they all go a bit nuts.

I'm not really talking about the voting change. The guy was sitting in a perfect spot. The move he's making doesn't make sense. With the way he's played so far, it's hard to imagine why he'd make a move like this.

Yea. He had the whole house's agreement to send Zach home, and he wasn't going to get blood on his hands.
Something really weird happened here, and I can only pray that Hayden or Donnie wins HOH. Derrick has to know that he and Cody will go up if Hayden can pull it out.
