<slips on Lou Holtz mask>
it'sth all about the matchupsth right now for meeeshell.
She is much better off facing natalie and Jordan in the final 3 best 2/3 HoH comp than either Kevin or Jeff.
not to mention this nugget:
if michelle win HoH and nominates kevin and natalie and either kevin or natalie win POV then either jeff or jordan goes up by default. That leaves the POV winner to vote against the remainder of jordan/jeff with Michelle breaking the 1-1 tie.
So say Michelle nominates Natalie/Kevin. Natalie wins POV and Michelle puts up Jordan. Jeff votes Kevin, natalie votes Jordan and Michelle decides who goes home. Michelle is way too smart to keep Kevin and send weak minded jordan home. The that sets up the next HoH which pits Jeff/Jordan/Natalie against each other with Michelle not being able to play. So Michelle would be a dead duck regardless unless natalie wins HoH and puts up J/J. Then if either of J/J wins POV, then Michelle goes up and Michelle goes home.

wow dude.
yeah jeff jumped a week too soon on the getting russell out, unless production has "weighed" in on this decision. He basically has screwed himself.

Memphis did it to himself last year when he used the veto to save dan at the end, renny got sent home and dan eventually won

Russell's last ditch effort:
quote:
Mon 6:12 PM BBT F 3/4 are Nat/Jor in the KT. I can't watch that feed though (anybody wanna catch it?). Russ/Kev still talking at pool table. - zauriel
Russ says think of the pros and cons. Because he will come after you. You should ride with someone who could actually take him out.
Kev doesn't respond to this.
Russ says if you're going to make a move in this game you should do it now. You have to win HOH and POV. Kev says why? Then realizes oh, so he can make sure Jeff doesn't take himself off.
Russ says you also would have a teammate you didn't have before. I dunno, it's just something to logically think about.
Kev remains quiet mostly. Russ continues trying to work Kev.
Kev suddenly says that means you would have to get Mich. Russ confirms yes. He tells Kev that he is still target #1 in everyone's eyes so no one would go after Kev, it takes the target off him.
Kev is likely just entertaining Russ right now but does seem to be toying with the idea.

This could get interesting. A Russell/Michelle/Kevin alliance is the only guaranteed way I see Kevin making it past next week. Now it's just a matter of Kevin seeing this.
quote:
Mon 6:26 PM BBT Russ tells Kev he's not throwing Nat under the bus, he's just looking out for himself. - zauriel
Kev asks Russ not to take their convo as any kind of guarantee or that Kev has made up his mind on something. Russ says he's not telling anybody anything.
Russ tells Kev he could even talk to Mich himself and work things out. Kev says Russ should do it b/c he can't read Mich. Russ says Mich came into the SS room crying b/c she was pissed about what Jeff did. Russ says do you think she feels safe?
Kev says yeah, b/c they didn't even tell her.

Jeff is hot, but very STOOPID!
I mean come one, your gonna all of a sudden turn on a member of your alliance to trust the other people you couldn't trust or stand in the beginning! Jeff & Jordan deserve to go home after this stupid shite! I was pulling for them, but I ain't so much now. I am pulling for Russ, (did I just say that, lol). Seriously, he has never lied to anyone in the house and has stood by his word.
I just can't believe they are that stupid to keep Natalie or Kevin!
I hope Russ get's saved this week by Kevin, I really and truly do. It's a shame bc I like Jeff, but he just sealed his fate. Whether Russ stays or not this week, Jeff is everyones target next week! Unless him and Russ make up or Jordan wins HOH, Jeff is going home! STOOPID!

did you forget that he was in an alliance with jessie/natalie/chima from the beginning? Then he cut a side deal with Ronnie while telling everyone he hated Ronnie. Then he made a secret deal with Jeff and screwed Jessie over on the POV when he picked Jeff to compete instead of Jessie and then Jessie got eliminated.
Russell is a complete scumbag

I didn't consider that an alliance, I just felt they all were stuck with each other due to them all being athletes and him and Jeff didn't get along at the time. Maybe I am missing something here?

And being I didn't consider him in an alliance with Jess/Nat/Chima, I didn't think this was such a bad thing. Especially since Chima and him were fighting, and she wanted him out. That doesn't sound like an alliance to me. And the only reason him and Chima started getting into it, was because MICHELLE lied to her about Russ. And then when confronted, she still denied it all. Michelle is the one always making Russ look bad and saying he said this and that.
quote:

I don't recall this? I remember him telling Ronnie he was picking on him so people wouldn't think anything, but I don't remember Ronnie ever saving his arse or anything like that?

I started watching late so all of that may be true. But from what I can tell, he has never done anything to cross Jeff and their final 4 agreement. The fact that he made a final 2 deal with Michelle is a dumbass thing for Jeff/Jordan to be upset about since they obviously have a final 2 agreement together.

He hasn't done anything to Jeff or Jordan, and if Jeff thinks that, it's because of freakin Nat & Kev, and maybe somewhat Michelle. As much as Michelle stands by Russ, she always leaves questions open and never answered to kinda confuse people. And I notice when Russ asked Michelle something the other night when Russ was being confronted by Jeff and Jordan, she didn't answer or take up for him. That kinda pissed me off, bc if she would have said something, then Jeff might not be trusting freakin Nat & Kev!
And you are so right about Jeff shoudln't be mad at Russ for him having a final 2 alliance with Michelle, bc it's OBVIOUS, that Jeff has a final 2 deal with Jordan. I mean that's the whoel point of making it to the final 4! Freakin STOOPID I tell you. I swear, Jeff really just sealed his fate!

he hasn't had the chance
he was HoH one time and he used that to get Ronnie out. he has been sitting back since he was put on the block and jeff saved him with the Coup d'Etat
russell was plotting with jessie from the beginning and that is why jessie was pissed off when russell picked jeff to play POV. Winning POV was the only chance jessie had to be safe from Coup D'etat and Russell didn't give him the chance. The reason russell went with jeff/jordan was he didn't have any choice, everyone else in the house had turned their back on him.
the only reason he cut a deal with michelle was they were literally alone and had no choice. kevin/natalie and jeff/jordan are playing together so what choice did michelle and russell have? Don't forget that russell has repeatedly screamed at Michelle, called her crazy, called her a liar etc. If they get russell out she will immediately go to the side with the HoH power to save her skin.
all that being said, jeff messed up and took russell out one week too early and unless Jordan wins HoH or he wins POV he is probably screwed.

I didn't see Jessie saying they were going to save Russ when he was on the block before Jeff used the coup'detat(sp?). I didn't consider him and Jessie's alliance strong at all, and barely there after the clicks split. I don't like Jessie anyway, so I thought the whole ordeal with done great!

First off, I think that Russ is a d-bag but I agree with tigerchick. He has been an arse - but (for the most part) truthful in the house.
To say that he screwed Jesse when Jesse and his crew (read: Chima) were planning on getting rid of him is a bit of a stretch. I know that he and Jesse had talked about working together a bunch but Jesse never held up his end of the deal either; what was Russ supposed to do, stay loyal to Jesse while Jesse was working on getting him evicted?
Also, the whole notion that he's with J/J/M only because he has no choice ..... so what? He is there and he has been honest. Why would it matter why he teamed up with them to start with?

If Russ is evicted, I'm pulling for K/N to win HoH. I just can't wait to see J/J's reaction when they get put up on the block. Maybe then they'll realize that Russell was on their side.

Exactly...I can't wait for everybody after the show to go and watch the whole thing, so they can see who was lying and who wasn't(Russ).

My point, why is it OK for Jessie to scheme to get Russ out, but it's a sin for Russ to save his own arse...Jessie ain't GOD(sorry Nat/Lyd/Chima, lol), nothing near it, I think he got what he deserved.

Everybody teams up with people all throughout the game, why can't Russ? Look at Lyd/Nat, I mean I thought they hated each other. Then Kevin teamed up with the girls because that's where he thought the power was going. And Nat would have never teamed with Kev, but that's all she has. Now she is lying and throwing Russ under the bus and STOOPID Jeff and Jordan believe them and want to switch the final 4 with Kev/Nat...looks like to me several people are temaing up with different folks.

I know it look's like Jeff shot off too soon but did he really? If they take out Kevin this week and Michelle or Russ win's the next HOH, someone has to go up alongside Natalie. You all don't think some backstabbing and move makin wouldn't be going on next week? The odd's of Jeff going up next week were close to the same whether he get's rid of Kevin or not.
At the end of the day, Jeff need's to win POV. If he win's that, all of a sudden, his backdooring Russell will look like a genius move.
