"duets" on ABC starts on May 24th. Gris and I talked about this a couple Of weeks ago.

Glad you reminded me of that. I had not set up my series recording for that yet. Got it on one TV and will put it on a few others.

I hope it's a good show. I also lost interest in The Voice as I said, previously. Loved the blind auditions, but once it started, I got very bored, cancelled the recordings and watched half heartedly on On Demand, a day or so afterward.

I hope P2 sings "Volcano". I'd like to see that again. Have no idea which song Chez will select. Don't really care.

They sing together on the results show, correct?

P.S. The final is on Tuesday night rather than Wednesday night of next week.

And, we might have seen the end of Josh singing if JLo hadn't gone on and on and said nothing at all. I forgot to mention that.

They could have nixed the Ford video also. I bet P2 just laughs at those and thanks the good Lord he's not in them.

the final song will be each singer singing the same original song that will be the Winner's first single.

I'll give 10:1 odds this song fits Bebe like a glove.

By the way, was anyone else feeling suicidal when Elvis' daughter was singing? I had to fast forward when I realized I was trying to decide between the pills and the bullet.

Would anyone have ever heard of her if it weren't for daddy?

I'm sure you would.

I don't see her doing anything other than "I Will Always Love You" at this point. It is her most hyped and talked about performance. It has an unreal 4.7 million views on just TW American Idol official video on you tubes. There are copies of the video with > 1 million views.

The only other song that was even near the hype was when she did "Stuttering" during the top 7 week and I thought it was terrible. That video has 2.4 million views.

Yeah, we will probably see them sing together. Also, there should be celebrity duets with some of the top 8. I also think the top 25 will be split girls and guys and they will do separate group performances. Also, Scotty may be performing again on the show.

Easy money for you.

No doubt the producers and song writers have been gearing up for her in the finals. They NEED a girl to win this. I'm definitely looking forward to seeing how skewed the judging and that song will be towards her next week.

There is a lot more they could cut out of the results show in order to let the singer finish off and maybe talk to them. That whole episode is nothing but fluff and filler. They could limit the talking by the judges. They could cut down on some of the annoying promotions. I like when they bring on bands and singers to perform though. Last night I didn't like it because Presley was awful and Lambert gives me the creeps. The end is so rushed and it doesn't need to be.

Nada. She was awful last night, too. Don't know why she does that to herself. She's got plenty of money and doesn't need to.

No question. That's exactly why I prefer to tape them and watch when I can ff through it. Waste of time and very annoying. They could make it a much more intersting hour and leave time to talk with the singer who is eliminated and even talk with the ones who aren't. I'd rather hear that.

A few years ago, there was a show on another channel which was basically "after the elimination". It was a about an hour and they picked up where the show left off. You could see and hear everyone who went on stage to talk with the contestants after the show. All the judges etc... Then, they interviewed some folks. It was great, but suddenly it was no longer. I use to tape it. Wish they had that back. I can't recall what network it was on. It was gold.

Well I have finally calmed down enough to post. Josh was robbed. I am not furious about the final, but I do think that he was robbed. I realize that this is the nature of the show, because of how its set up, but I will watch the finale and then im done. Ive said it again, but it infuriates me that because a bunch of 13-17 years old girls want to bang a contestant he will win. I like P2, so im not too bitter, now had it been Colton . Regardless, the final isnt awful, P2 I dont feel is as talented as Josh, but he is and will be a phenomenal artist.

As far a Chez goes. I hope P2 wins, and it isnt even close.

I don't remember that but that would have been awesome to me. I'm surprised i didn't know about this. I have watched the heck out of this show. But I have gotten more into it as each season passes. Probably just missed this.
I imagine it was on E! or something similar to that. Do you remember the hosts of it?

I just read somewhere during my lunch break that Simon Cowell said there will be two hosts on X factor instead of one. I don't know how I feel about that. I remember when Idol had Seacrest and that guy Brian Dunkleman as hosts for season one. It was weird and was definitely a good thing that they went to one guy. I like Seacrest as the host.

I have realized watching live shows like these that Hosts kind of matter. Seacrest is good. Nick Cannon is okay for that terrible talent show. Carson Daly is boring on the voice. I wonder who x factor will get. They almost have to be better than Steve Jones by default because he was the worst.

Also you touched on it a little last night about the x factor judges. It will be interesting to see how Britney and Demi Lovato will fit in with Simon and LA Reid. I'm sure Britney's analysis will be gold.
I remember Geaauuxx saying that she loves Britney. Can't wait to see your's and Geaauuxx's opinions on Britney as judge.

We need Gris to put some of her voodoo charm on the left coast for a well-timed power outage next week.

I could not look a my newspaper this morning, because josh was on the front page, not really sad that he was eliminated, because he told all of his fans on his facebook page not to be sad and that he signed a huge record deal.

Glad to see Josh go but would have rather Sanchez go and it be Josh and Philip in the final. Still bugs me that Josh can't even say his last name right
