Im with you on that

She might sneak in the finals if P2 or Josh lose momentum.

I think Skylar has a great chance to go the distance.

Bebe Chez was better in the second song, but she can go anytime, for me.

Agreed. I am just not a fan of her voice. I wouldn't want to listen to it on the radio. Just not my style.

Bee, Josh just killed it on the second song. He didn't look gay to me and he's ready for love. FABULOUS job.

Prediction going forward. Order of elimination:

Elise

Jessica

Holly (sorry Beefense)

Philip

Final Two:

Skylar & Josh

White guitar playing guy streak broken. Any white guy streak broken. So we either break the country domination from last year, or a girl wins for the first time in forever (Jordin Sparks 2007)

I think it's going to be Joshua, but I like all of them that are left except for maybe Elise, & I don't completely dislike her.

He doesn't like Bebe. He loves Hollie.

I think Testosterone's second song was a train wreck. I hated it.

Yeah, but what's going around her house?

Okay, so I can't even stand hearing the play back with Elise.

I think Josh won the night. Skylar is a close second. Hollie was third for tonight, but I really love P2. This wasn't a good night for him, though. Bebe next and and Testosterone is last. I hope Bebe or Testosterone go. The girls will keep P2 in. He needs to step it up, though.

She is gone imo. Or at least I want her to be gone. I really can't tell who will leave.

Thinking objectively after watching the performances a couple of times now. I have Skylar, Hollie, Josh, and Phillip.

Im worried though. I think Hollie has another chance of being in the bottom three when she shouldn't.

The bottom three should absolutely include elise, Sanchez and possibly Phillip. I know you are a huge Phillip fan but I wasn't feeling him this week at all. Like you said, he needs to step it up.

Hollie is gaining momentum, I hope the votes come with that momentum.

Phillips will be safe. Skylar will be safe. Joshua will definitely be safe. I can't say about the rest.

Im going to be like this until tomorrow night

Yeah, P2 took a step back tonight, but not enough to be booted, IMO. I think Testosterone goes and I'm not all that sure Bebe Chez won't find herself in the bottom 3. That's a possibility. I think Hollie could be at the top of the bottom 3. She's either going to be #3 or 4, IMO. She has to beat BeBe out of the top 4.

Phil is definitely not going anywhere anytime soon IMO. If votes went the way they should than Elise should be gone.

I'm doing some reading around on different boards and seeing the attitudes of people, everyone is pretty much settled on a Hollie, bebe, and Elise bottom 3. With Elise leaving. I just wish that Hollie could have earned herself a chance out of the bottom three for once. Yeah I know that is a homer comment but it would be good for her confidence.

Oh yeah, edit the page number after I read a gazillion pages trying to find that Hollie Tamale reference!

While I was cruising all of those pages, I saw that you posted that P2 was in pain this week. I was wondering if he was during his interviews. He just didn't seem right to me.

Also saw the stuff about Colton posting religious stuff. No telling what else they tell these poor kids. Pretty much, it's probably "don't be yourself".

I don't know if Hollie was the second to last next week. I don't think they necessarily do that in order. I think they move around. Have you read something indicating the announcements are in order of votes other than the last one, of course?

I just don't think Testosterone did herself good with her performances and I think her second song was the dagger.

Also, I think Hollie knows she can't win it at this point. Her goal is just staying in as long as she can. If she makes Top 5 with her performances overall, I think she's done a fine job. She was shaky until last week. Both she and Bebe were just singing. It's just too bad Hollie didn't come out of her shell for so long. She could have been fighting with Skylar is she'd done what she did last week, all along.

Sorry about that. I was hoping I caught it before.

Yeah, apparently he is having major kidney stone issues. This is the third time so far on the show that he has had the issues and major pain.

It's really interesting to me. Idol makes these people sign their lives away when they make it on the show. I don't know if you have heard of other contestants before this season complaining about "getting away from the American idol chains". There have been several contestants complain that they were held back from recording and doing anything musically related even after they were voted of the show. Apparently they sign a contract that idol hold their rights up to 6 months or so after the show.
What I am getting at with all this is that they do control what the contestants do. You really aren't allowed to be yourself fully. I could see Colton getting frustrated with that.

You bring up a good point. I have always wondered that while watching the earlier seasons. There is a difference sometimes each week when Seacrest announces "bottom 3". You have to pay attention to what he says. Sometimes he never says the words "bottom 3". He will announce three people and then say that one of those people will be going home while never mentioning the words "bottom 3".

I'm convinced that each time he says the words bottom three, that they are indeed the lowest vote totals. But when he doesn't say bottom three but tells a group of three contestants that one of them is leaving, 2 of them aren't necessarily the lowest vote getters of the three. They do that sometimes to create drama.

I know it sounds a little over analytical but you should pay attention and see if you hear what I am getting at when it comes to what Seacrest says about the "bottom 3".

I voted the limit online for Hollie and lost count on phone votes

I also put in some online votes for skylar. I tried to call skylar's number but I got the busy tone twice. You must have been burning up the line to vote

I think you are spot on with this analysis. I would be thrilled to see her make top 3. Like I have said before, I was a fan of hers before this season even started so it is pretty awesome to see someone make it this far that was underrated and I became a fan of a while ago.

I saw that potential.

She really has turned it on the last couple of weeks though. This show is all about song choice. She is a power ballad girl. Other than the rolling in the deep performance, She has seemed awkward and mechanical with upbeat songs. I think from here on out she needs to stick to her strength. Do the ballads, knock them out of the park and don't worry what the judges say. She should not let them convince her to sing something not her style.

I think she has a chance. It's an outside chance but she has a chance to make things interesting.

That's what is awesome about this show this season. We all have different opinions. We all can't decide who will last to the finale. The talent is strong and diverse. Makes the show so much fun to watch and entertaining to talk about online. I don't know if you can tell but I love analyzing this stuff.
