I wanted to check this out in theaters but it left too early. Streaming now on Paramount.

I liked the first 10 minutes so much that I stopped and opted to watch it fully another night when I can focus on it.

It was great but the first 10 minutes didn’t grab me.
Jack has been great in the boys and to me this was a very similar role for him. He seems to play a pussy in everything until he doesn’t
I really enjoyed Neighborhood Watch with him in it also.

This was a fun premise poorly executed. I get not feeling pain, but all the other trauma still would affect his ability to function. It lost me when he put his hand in the deep fryer to get the gun. Sure, it might not hurt given his condition, but his had would be completely useless. I thought it was kind of ridiculous. I do like Quaid though, he has a real presence on the screen.

I really enjoyed the premise. It was a dumb action comedy in the best sense of that. It was a fun movie.
And Jack Nicholson’s kid was really good as the main bad guy.
