Looks like David Letterman will be his first guest post-hiatus....definitely a big heavy there.
I love Norm's show, but I wish he wasn't so damn flaky about doing it...

He was also Dave's choice for his successor, but Norm has absolutely no respect for authority and no way was CBS going to give him a show. Dave was grooming him basically as soon as he got on SNL.
Norm would have long been blackballed out of Hollywood if the comedians just didn't love him, because all the executives definitely hate him.

Every one of his appearances on Conan are the funniest late night shows ever recorded.
I hope this news lands him another guest spot on Conan.
Norm might be my favorite comedian ever. He owned the SNL update desk. No one else comes close.

I believe he said on an episode of Norm Live that he just assumed casting directors were always looking to cast a big fat guy.
