Movie was good not great. Assuming there's a sequel and Shredder is in it not sure how it works with Rocksteady and Beebop being good I didn't like that. Rudd as mondo gecko was perfect casting

The kids wanted to see it so we went last night. Growing up with TMNT, it was definitely different for me, but the kids watching the newer versions didn’t seem to mind. Other than April being black (and she was not depicted in a “black people are superior” kind of way at all), I didn’t really pick up on a bunch of wokeness (but I wasn’t really looking for it), even though I guess the theme of the movie was acceptance.

I didn’t really like what they did with Shredder, but I did laugh at the running joke about milking and the turtles not having nipples. My 4 year old reminded me this morning that the turtles don’t have nipples. Ice Cube as Superfly was good, and Rudd as Mondo was great.
