Watching now.
Nany’s teeth get bigger and whiter every season I think. And how the hell did she not know Kaycee left the game? Seems like there would’ve been time in between to call? I’m not sure how it works though with travel and keeping shite under wraps from the outside world.
Of course we’re getting some Tori talk about Jordan. So cue him up at the end of this episode I guess.
Emmy quits and this takes Nam with her. That fricking sucks for him to go there for what, like two days and then have to go home?
Horacio looks legit in this challenge. Damn. And I can’t tell if Olivia is hot or like Instagram hot.
I want a gif of Nelson trying to swing over to the platform.
Fessy fell.
I can’t believe so many people are falling and failing at this. It seems super easy. Especially when you can grab the rope and swing over. Not sure why people are jumping then trying to grab it.
Jesus, Nany’s fricking teeth. They’re so big she talks with her mouth wide arse open the entire time. She’s lost some weight though. And Kaycee is back. So much for them having to “leave the game.” Something tells me Kaycee’s brother will massively hold her back.
Turbo is such a bitch.
I didn’t know he’s an actor though. So I assume most of this is an act. But man whether it’s real or fake, I can’t imagine dealing with someone like that for two minutes, let along an extended period of time. I’d just have to walk away.
“That’s fricked.” Oops, censors missed one.
Nurys is smoke. Damn.
I almost take back what I said about Turbo being good television. If he’s bitching out like this 24/7 then it’s not entertaining. It’s just annoying as frick. Although I do still hope he’s still here when Jordan shows up.
It does suck that this is the type of elimination that lends itself to the crowd helping you. Because Horacio and Olivia should run away with this since everyone else is helping them. But that’s also what Turbo gets for pissing everybody off, so I don’t feel bad. But it would’ve been nice if it would’ve been physical and Horacio kicked his arse. Horacio seems like a good dude.
Wonder why they bring Jordan in with no partner. Should be interesting but man I wish Turbo would’ve seen it.

If I'm thinking through the format correctly, it seems like there's an absolute premium on winning daily challenges more than usual, right?
Generally, you win a challenge and you choose 1 team, then the entire group deliberates and chooses the 2nd team. Alliances are super important and usually the vets use the numbers so no matter what it's always a rookie group in and if a vet duo wins the challenge, they throw in 2 rookie teams. And the vets really cant ever lose this way.
But this challenge so far, the team that wins the challenge essentially has control over both teams going in. Maybe not full control, but they pick 4 teams, and 2 of those 4 teams are going in no matter what. So basically, if the rookies can win 2 or 3 straight challenges, they at least have a chance to flip the numbers in the house with guarantees to send vets home if the rookie team that wins the challenge just puts in 4 vet teams.
Again, not sure I'm fully thinking it through correctly but in some way I think it slightly devalues alliances but maybe puts a much bigger value on alliances inside of alliances lol. Like we saw last night, an entire alliance of 3 teams can go to the bottom group, but your alliance within that group is what can potentially save you.

Also, pretty darn funny that you know Turbo just wants to rip someone's head off, and the Elimination he gets thrown into is basically a 3 year old Match game.
I get that it shows that if you don't make friends, it can screw you like we saw last night, but I still wish they wouldn't allow the other teams to help out in eliminations. I just don't like that, it made the elimination a complete afterthought as there was no way the team would lose with the entire cast just telling them exactly what to do.

same applies to vets, who are able to just throw in 4 rookie duos if they win the challenge.
winning a daily is a big one in this season, a ton of power, but you also piss off 8 people, 6 of which will be returning to the house and will probably throw you in if they get the chance.

yea alliances are higher risk higher reward. if your allies win dailies then youre probably solid. If your enemies win dailies then your alliance is in jeopardy.

Absolutely.
If a rookie team wins, 4 of the vet teams will be interrogated.

Yup. If sucks and is stupid. No matter what, eliminations should be head to head with no chance of crowd interference. It’s even different if they’re like “try it this way” or whatever. But the matching game was that you literally had 20 people memorizing where the cards were for you.

Vet wins a daily. Old system, Vet team picks a rookie team to go in. The group votes in a rookie because the Vets have the numbers...2 rookie teams go in. New system, Vet wins daily, picks 4 rookie teams, 2 rookie teams go in. So ultimately, no change or advantage for vets.
But for the rookies - Old system, rookies win a daily. Old system, rookie temas picks a vet team to go in. The group votes in a rookie because the vets have the numbers...rookie team vs vet team in elimination. New system, Rookie wins daily, picks 4 vet teams, 2 vet teams go into elimination. Big advantage for rookies compared to old system.

crowd interference is a common part of elims/challenges, especially puzzle types. I dont really mind it, just another part of a social game. There's times where people actually just cheat off of others which is much more problematic altho sometimes youre able to destroy the evidence. Usually both individuals/teams in the elim have people to help so its not so one sided, I could see how with Turbo it seemed over the top tho.
they have seasons where they removed this and it sucked imo (exile elims). good challengers notice who helps who and helps delineate secret alliances. Good challengers try to put their finger on the scale and have more desirable people win elims.

While I don’t completely disagree with your point, ultimately I’d still prefer eliminations to be about pure skill and/or performance. As in when push comes to shove, it should come down to you and you alone to determine your fate of actually going home. No outside help or assistance. Just your performance (whether that be physical, puzzle, memory, etc).
Just my $0.02.

I dont really disagree with you either, but idk. I think its way more messed up when they have an elim that is 2 handed and jordan gets washed because of 1hand.

It's amazing how much the dynamic of the entire show changed with when Bananas came in, and so much for the better.
The fist episode was terrible and had no juice. As soon as John comes in, Jay automatically becomes a good character and the strategy of the game becomes so much better.
Bananas had the perfect plan immediedtly and knows the game so well.
Michelle seems like a huge snake. Jay choosing Johnny is such a dumb move. He's killed both teams now.
Turbo has to be 80% full of shite.
As for Horacio, dude seems like one of the best players in a while. Olivia is going to be his giant anchor though, especially if they ever get to a final.

Just caught up on the preview show and the first two episodes.
So far I like what I’m seeing. Horacio is clearly a great athlete and a very nice guy who won’t anger anyone. The other new guys seem pretty good, if not generic. And there are definitely some teams with anchors.
Horacio, Jordan, and Darrel are all going to struggle to win because of their partners. Same with Kaycee.
Amber and Laurel both have a good shot, assuming Laurel’s gay bff is even decent. But John & Nany and Devin & Tori have to be the favorites for now.
Turbo was very annoying and over the top this season. He’s like CT after his brother’s death and before Rivals II, just acting like he has the biggest chip on his shoulder and everyone is trying to get him.
CT was that way because of a murder and his own heavy drug use. He snapped out of it by the end of Rivals II. Turbo is clearly playing a character but people get lost in their characters (looking at you, Ninja from Die Antwoord and Riff Raff).
I think he is shooting porn with Britni on OnlyFans but obviously I am not going to pay to find out if that’s accurate.

Oh man, I don’t think that’s fair of CT at all. Turbo is an entirely different level of annoying. CT at least is entertaining. Turbo’s schtick got old after about half an episode. And that’s coming from someone who was dying to see him back on a challenge.

Wait, who are you talking about here?
Posted on 10/22/22 at 4:22 pm to CocomoLSU
Turbo
I’m not going to pay for an OnlyFans but it seems like he’s involved in photo shoots with Britni from the Challenge (I think Devin’s AYTO season, never watched). I think Cara Maria is the photographer but doesn’t appear in front of the camera.
I know Jemmye and Dee are posting content (leaked on Reddit, definitely X-rated), as does that really hot British chick Melissa.
CT from Inferno III, Duel II, and Rivals/Rivals 2 was terrible. He lasted 2-3 days on Inferno III, one night for Duel II, and could have been kicked out early in Rivals 2 for choking a guy in the pool.
He got much more manageable and normal as that season progressed and has been fine since.

I think the guy who usually starts Challenge threads got banned (lsu25 or something like that).
Tori looks like the Jack Nicholson Joker now with all the surgery she's had.
CP3LSU25. Don't know why he got banned but we were rewatching old seasons up through Rivals 2.

Bump for new episode!
Looks like Aneesa is back, and she’s continued the trend of gaining an additional 10 pounds before every single season
