Margot Robbie getting top billing over Idris Elba and John Cena....... After the financial disaster only last year that was Birds of Prey?

Was Birds of Prey pre or post-shutdown? I know it got so-so reviews, but it made $200 million against $100 million budget. And I don't think it had much of a promotion budget. Did the shutdown limit its financials at all, or was it already on the way out before theaters closed?

In hindsight, not getting released was a blessing, but why didn't WB shoot for a summer release? (In fact, why have none of the DCEU movies, save for Man of Steel, been released in the summer?)

She's a bigger movie star than both of them especially Cena. Her character is also more famous.

You have an odd system for picking your movies.

How many trashy Harley Quinn costumes have you seen compared to Cena and Heimdall in the last couple of years?

Looks exactly like the guardians of the galaxy poster even though I doubt he had anything to do with it.

I mean, same director, there's got to be similar tone between the two films.

What strikes me about The Suicide Squad's poster is that is looks like a direct homage to The Dirty Dozen as well as dozen or so 70s post-Vietnam War gritty war films.

Is this a reboot of the origin story? If so, is it the fastest ever reboot?

From what I understand WB/DC gave Gunn carte blanche to completely ignore continuity.

When Gunn was asked if the movie would stay within the DCEU continuity, he said "audiences will just have go with what we've done."

I am stoked for this - Gunn has proven he can do an ensemble movie and make it super enjoyable.

To be fair Hans and Junkie worked on the music for BvS so it probably has Hans’ influence in it. I don’t know if many were reused or not but it’s possible
