God, not-Dale's voice and character are the worst part of the new show.

We watched the scene where Connie meets the Etsy chick twice. Bobby was awesome.
That and Black Barbershop Peggy in the same episode. Gold.

Finally got around to watching as I was traveling for a while. I absolutely loved it! I really appreciated the nostalgia of watching this show when it first came out in the late 90's. I can't remember, but I honestly don't think I kept watching in the mid 2000's so I think i need to go back and watch from wherever the hell is stopped watching. I may just do the whole series over..
As others have said, Dale's voice just doesn't work that well for me. Boomhauer and Bill are still the best. Hank and Bobby are awesome. I really like the new Bobby.

I found out that its Johnny Hardwicks actual voice that he recorded while getting treatment for cancer… which is why it sounds off.. i think thats really sweet of them to not recast him. Finding that out made it much easier to tolerate. I felt kind of bad because i was talking mad shite when it first dropped before i found out

Finished it a couple of weeks ago. Loved it. Like the series never missed a beat. They absolutely nailed the characters’ age progression into modern times. Just further solidifies Judge>>>>> Groening and McFarlane.

I started putting the original Hill on as background and as a time filler. Amazing how well that limited animation worked so well. The stories hold up amazingly well.

Because Mike Judge has principles and talent. Still can’t get over Fox picking a third shite show from Seth McFarlane over renewing King of the Hill.
