Nick and Schmidt are tied for my favorite character.
Winston...is ok.
Jess is ok...like someone said, she's vital and fits in, as long as she isn't overdone. She's best when awkwardly making an arse of herself.
I am wondering what the writers are trying to do with her and Nick. Does anyone else feel like they seem to be setting up them 2 to get together? Then she gets back with the doctor.
I hope Nick stays single and carefree.

Seems like they are setting that up to happen eventually. But i wouldnt say thats gonna happen any time soon.

I've been thinking that for a while. I think when its all said and done they end up together, but we likely will have to go through a few stages of them trying it out and failing. That will get annoying if it happens.
Last nights episode, when the sleigh goes crashing down and Nick is crawling around on the ground saying this is my nightmare and Angie is jumping up and down in the background

Love the show.
My only real complaint is that they have no clue what they want to do with Winston. His character has been all over the place since they brought him in for the Wayans kid.
Its never made sense that the smallest, least fit, guy in the cast was some Euro basketball star. We're at the point now where there's absolutely no jock in the guy whatsoever. Last week we find out he freaks out under stress, to the point where he strips all of his clothes off and we see him laying on the rooftop in purple underwear. The basketball star?

It definitely feels like they're setting a Nick/Jess relationship up, but it seems like a slow play. It'll probably happen down the road a season or two from now

Winston just floats. No story arc, just random shite every week. The other 4 main characters have all had pretty clear story arcs and well defined personalities at this point.

I dont see the problem with that. Its a half hour show, theres already a lot going on. No need to shove a Winston Storyline in there if it isnt funny

They are definitely setting it up for Nick and Jess to get together. They are just slow playing the hell out of it.

Last week's episode when Schmidt went to see the lesbian Gyno to get sex tips and got her all turned on was awesome.
