They didn't help, not the way they were shoehorned into the story. But the trashing of Tolkien's lore was far worse. Nothing in the series remotely connected with we already knew of these characters.

Yes, a show can be awful and a pile of crap without being 'woke', but curiously, all these shows just HAPPEN to be following the same puritanical far Leftist manual.
- Pick an established franchise with a built-in fanbase.
- Humiliate or downgrade every male character
- Elevate one or several females and making one of them the bestest evar at everything!
- Sprinkle in some 'muh diversity' for reasons which have nothing to with the source material.
- Repeat.
It's been posted here many times that this stuff was being done on purpose, yet you continue to act as if that's not the case, and that all of this 'whining' is simply a few beta males screaming angrily into their webcams.
We're so far beyond that, it's time you just give it a rest.

I can’t saying about trashing of his lore because I never read his books or the movies, but I’ve heard solid things about RoP from Tolkien die hards if it weren’t for your past of linking videos about “woke” movies or ones that straight up lied about ratings I might give your take some validity.

Yeah thats a pretty good way to sum it up. I dont enjoy 99% of shite released but i have never made a youtube video documenting why i didnt like it and what they could have changed to make it more likeable.
There is too much content released to watch everything anyway.

So? How is that even remotely relevant to as to WHY they're making these videos? And FYI, these channels existed well before this woke garbage started. Certainly before it got to the major studios.

Thor- clowned. Not remotely the same character.
Dr. Strange - MoM was the Wanda and American Chavez show.
Hawkeye - More like the Kate Bishop show, w/ Hawkeye
Shang-Chi - Featuring Marvel's Katy, who mastered archery in the span of like 10 minutes! Stunning!

Your point is invalid. Primarily with Tolkien, it absolutely matters about swapping and inserting of superfluous races where they're already established in the source material. Tolkien needs no diversifying. His books were already enjoyed worldwide.
In a few instances, it can work.
Starbuck - BSG. Katie Sackhoff did a great job. (And she should have been Captain Marvel)
Nick Fury - Samuel L was a great casting, imo. Up until they did the character wrong, with how he lost his eye. Absolutely horrible writing.
MJ and Flash - One sorta works, because she's not specifically 'Mary Jane Watson', but annoying & unathletic Indian dude for the character of Flash Just terrible.

On this point—producers are actively casting non whites based solely on skin color. And other check boxes. This is a well known casting agenda, plus its simply obvious to anyone (except maybe a prog in denial) who watches TV or film. It’s amazing how you folks always find ways to support such discrimination and alteration of source material, while at the same time pretend it isn’t happening or doesn’t matter. If it didn’t matter, it wouldn’t be happening would it?

Well, what you’re mindlessly defending is ”conscious casting” or “diversity casting” or somesuch similar terms. It's widespread and no secret and simply means “anyone but a straight white guy.” It’s objectively racist and needlessly alters source material. Like how Anne Boleyn is now black, for some reason.
Diversity casting always flows in one direction, bc it is racist. But I’m glad you finally are admitting it is happening and that you support this racism and needless alteration of source material. I mean, own it.
