Of course no one should have any issues with him being black.
Now, is he playing the doctor as gay? That would be recreating the character (much like making him a woman - and the reason I’ve never seen the new doctor).

I was willing to give the new doctor a chance, because she was so excellent in broadchurch. But the stories I saw were stupid, woke, and boring.
I was hoping this time, as last time, that the new doctor would be Richard ayaode.

Yes. I only know of it from reviews. Never seen 1 episode of Dr. Karen.
