No, but it did make me realize that all Escobar wanted was to smoke joints and make money and everybody kept fricking with him. He was just like The Dude but instead of bowling his thing was selling drugs. Seems like he would have been a fun guy to smoke a J with in his younger days.

The rap culture has glorified this absolute narcissist/inhumane guy into a folklore hero....which is kinda what they do. Not saying you listen to rap or that this is where you got your viewpoint from....but just because he hugged his mija and madre real tight does not cancel out all the evil and destruction that occurred under his purview.

In the show he would fire up a J all the time, pretty much whenever too. I don't know if Escobar was really like that or not but it just stood out to me.

If you stream it from some of the torrent sites there can be issues with subtitle playback. Some ripped versions don’t even have subtitles or you can’t turn them on.

Narcos def has one of the best theme songs of all time. Narcos Mexico def fell way off in quality IMO. The season they had the female narrator was terrible and it was really disappointing overall bc seemed like there was lot of stories they could tell but didn’t.
