The jungle and swampy areas are the worst. The insects would make me quit after a few minutes. frick that.

ETA: She also flipped her truck and broke her collarbone, which she says is a rite of passage in Louisiana. So yep.

Ole girl must not be from louisiana then

Remember as a kid we used to wake up in the morning from a night of camping and smash blood filled mosquitoes in the tent. I thought that was normal growing up.

Agreed.

And I'd have to live for 21 days covered in mud and smoke to keep them at bay if I made it through the first night.

I'd love to do this show, but if they said i was going to the swamp or jungle, i'd tap out before even starting. Hell i wouldn't want to do that show even if i had clothes on in those areas. I've slept in a cabin in the swamp in the summer time. Unless you can have a mosquito net to sleep in, frick that.

The "mosquitos" they had to contend with were some jungle species that cause the skin to swell and burn upon contact. It was pretty gnarly. These aren't your swamp skeeters.
