Must watch docuseries on Hulu. Superhot: The Spicy World of Pepper People

Major King of Kong type vibes. The people involved are amazing.
It's a deep dive into people that grow insanely hot peppers, people that try to make hot sauces, people that eat peppers competitively, and what goes into the business of superhot peppers.
Not as great as King of Kong, but it's really good.
The people involved in this are mostly nuts, but there's a few cool ones. New characters keep popping up through the series.

Is that weird dude in it that grew the worlds hottest pepper?
His name is Ed something. Just got the Guinness world record for pepper X.

What a cool show.
Amateur pepperhead myself, grow and make, just 2-3 generic varieties.
I had an inkling that the superhot world was weird but damn, it’s all kinds of crazy - Growers, makers and competitive eaters.
So very well done and produced especially considering such a low key topic.
ETA: Damn a lot of them are actual former hard drug users that now get high off eating superhots.
ETA: cool includes a local Louisiana grower, one of the most reknowned.
