Just saw it last night with the wife. Visually, it was an amazing film. Definitely not the best film but if you’re into these sort of films, I recommend it. Daisy Ridley was good and so was Branagh. Rest of the cast is pretty forgettable though.

I really enjoyed it, helped that I didn't know the story so I didn't know how it ended.

I assume they didn't change the ending in this version.

My only complaint was that it wasn't dark enough for my tastes. I suppose that is just Agatha Christie's style, however.

We loved it. Branagh as Poirot was fantastic. I hope it does well enough to make good on the Death on the Nile tease.

My son and I saw it yesterday and we both enjoyed it. It was visually very beautiful too.

Decent film. Daisy Ridley is bae.

Felt the ending dragged out way too long but I guess it was essentially a broadway play, or felt like it.

Braggauh was the best part of the movie. If everyone acted as well as him it would've been a very well done film

I read an article that said most of the cast would be interested in doing another one.

In playing the same characters or different? I would lose immersion if anyone besides Branagh returned.

I think the movie is based off a series of books surrounding that detective and his adventures

I know that but why would the cast return when their characters aren't in other stories

It was decent. Pacing was really good, it didn't feel as long as it was. This is made for people who liked the RDJ Sherlock Holmes movies but want something a little more high brow.

No just probably another Poirot mystery adaptation. Obviously they would be playing different characters except for Branaugh

Dude. Not knowing who a classical and historic author is is no way to go through life. Especially the author of 10 little N*****s.

That being said, liked the movie OK. Pacing was interesting and I liked KBs take on the character. Climax was a bit lacking. I get that’s how the book ended, but it didn’t translate well.

Myself and the wife saw it last night without any prior knowledge of the story. We really enjoyed it, but agree that the climax was a bit lacking. When walking out, told my wife it seemed like something Agatha Christie would write. Had no clue it was written by her, but we both loved Ten Little Indians so that explains why we enjoyed it. Poirot was the best part of the movie imo, other than Ridley of course ??
