The last 5 minutes of the second episode were not good. Overall I liked the pilot better.

I watched all 3 episodes this morning. Interesting plot, or "plots". Lonely single empty nester or bi-courious middle aged MILF? Both.

I think the son was a super unsympathetic character in episode 1 and while not quite sympathetic, he’s gotten a more favorable outlook recently. Especially with his mom freaking out just because his dad coming to parents’ weekend.
He’s still a dumbass as you can see from the climate change conversation but he’s no longer picking on long haired social outcasts.
I think it’s showing how Gen Z has fewer “frat boy” types and how people who dominated student bodies even 10 years ago may feel like outcasts now.

Yeah I think that sounds right. He went from the big man on campus in episode 1 to not belonging anywhere now, whereas the guy he picked on as the outcast in high school is about to bone his mom.
