Movie recommendation: Archive (2020) on Prime Video

I was bored yesterday while the wife was working so I tried to find something I knew she wouldn't care to watch (she's not in to most sci-fi stuff) and came across this film.

It stars Theo James and some chick I've never heard of, along with Toby Jones in a small role. It has kind of an Ex Machina feel to it without the great acting, but the soundtrack, story and cinematography are excellent.
I liked it and thought I would share.

Cool I had never heard of it. I'll definitely give this one a watch. I wonder how many other decent movies got lost during COVID? I feel like there were a few good movies from last year that I didn't discover until this year.
The premise of Archive reminds me of another movie on my list, Replicas (2018) with Keanu Reeves (on HBO Max). I haven't been motivated to watch it because the reviews are so bad, but I'll watch just about any sci-fi movie with good production values.

Having seen both I can confidently say Archive is the better movie.
Replicas is a decent watch though.

Just watched this. Kinda of reminds me of Ex Machina. I recommend it though.
