someone else already mentioned the ending to Its a Wonderful Life but when George was just a kid working for Old man Gower after Gower just lost his son and mistakenly puts poison in another kids prescription while obviously mourning.

George refusing to deliver the drugs only to get confronted by Old Man Gower and slapped up while trying to explain why the medicine was not delivered...Old Man Gower realizing what he had done and trying to hug George for saving him and the child
