No Country for Old Men- after all the action and tension, you end it with a quote?

Titanic- Everybody should've died except the band. Rose, I hate everything about you, young or old.

Dark Knight Rises -Damn you Alfred. Nobody cares what you want since your not a main character. You're just an overpaid, unable butler. Bane was just a meathead? Batman gave that back stabber Selena a 2nd chance? Watching this movie, I can tell that Nolan believes he's great in his own head. The guy probably can't even tell a decent campfire story growing up.

I think you missed the entire point of the story and film.

Amen and amen. I wish it had only been 2 hours, brah (almost 3 1/2 hours).

I'm a Nolan fan - seriously - but these movies, outside of one performance by one actor in one film - are just 1 big "meh".

Let's not revisit why TDKR was one giant steaming pile of crap.

Too many threads on that already.

A lot of people was saying it was the greatest trilogy ever when it came out. I guess people believed the hype and took it as that.

Caddyshack II

Underrated - in a similar way to Ghostbusters II - if it wasn't a purported "sequel" to such a great movie, it would be viewed more favorably, IMHO. I like Jackie Mason and the scene where he has the Belgian (or Shire) draft horse mowing down equestrian jumps like a medieval warhorse is worth the movie.

(Not a great movie - don't misunderstand me, but damaged by trying to follow Caddyshack - which is why the whole unplanned sequel process is misguided - even the planned ones get messed up at times.)

Do tell, please. Because I thought that was a poor ending as well. Love the movie, just not sure I get the ending.

It is one of the best trilogies ever. Probably top 5.

Except for the awful CGI, I was pleasantly surprised by this movie. I actually liked the ending.
