Yes, I'm a fan of the minions. They are what they are and that makes it hard for them to disappoint. And mostly true to form, they deliver on a Minion level.
Mostly.
The story takes a while to get to the actual plot, which is fine, but the easy comparison between Monsters vs Aliens is hard to overlook.
Take the younglings to get out of the heat, I suppose.

Went and saw it with my niece and nephew on Wednesday. The movie wasn't what I was expecting it to be but it was enjoyable.
I know Trey Parker voiced Goomi but he did the exact same voice he does as Kyle's cousin Kyle and it was a bit distracting for me.

Trey Parker’s Kyle voice, with a slight variation. is still hard to unhear.
The history part was a bit redundant but I didn’t mind. The story seemed a bit too all over the place.

Yeah agreed took a while to get traction. Good kids movie but not as good as original minions movie. Great final scene though.
