This thread gave me the nudge I needed to start the show.
Wow, episode 2 with the parents was some of the best 30 minutes of tv I've seen. Just hit all the right cords.

Just watched episode 6 (I Love New York),the one Aziz and his friends are barely in...
...thought it was really good and easily the best one so far.

Bump. Im out of the loop and almost through season 2.
Man, I don’t get the hate at all. Seasons 2 feels disjointed like a lot of Netflix re-ups. A lot of effort goes into Season 1 then Netflix throws down a bunch a money and needs Season 2 quickly (Cough, Stranger Things, cough). The show is really good though.
The episodes in Italy were great. The long scene in the cab after he dropped off Francesca was perfectly set with that Soft Cell song. Thanksgiving was great. I Love NYC was different but captured the random happenings that is life in NYC.
Unfortunately I think Gyp Rosetti is going to viciously murder Aziz in their scenes.
