Mare of Easttown and Sharp Objects

I started watching this new series on HBO called Mare of Easttown with Kate Winslet on HBO. It’s on episode 4, and a new episode drops weekly. It’s pretty good so far. They are just now fleshing out that characters and setting the plot. Winslet is very good in her role.
Here’s my problem. While waiting for another episode to drop (between 3 and 4) I started watching Sharp Objects with Amy Adams and Patricia Clarkson. It’s also very good, and although the two shows are distinctly different in many ways, the plot lines are strikingly similar.
So now, I’ve got these thriller/murder mystery plots all mixed up in my head.
I strongly recommend that if you want to watch these shows, plan to put a little space between viewings!

It drags in some parts and I wasn't drawn in by any of the characters, but I loved watching this and the ending is an all-timer. Watch through the credits.

Never heard the name Shioban until Succession and then they just happen to use it in Mare of Eastown

Even worse, it's spelled Siobhan.

I was surprised when I heard Zep songs in the show, since they are known to be reluctant to allow the use of their songs.
The Sharp Objects director gave an interview and said they really had to work on Plant and Page to get rights for 4 songs.
The use of one in the final scene was awesome. This interview is a bit spoilerish, so maybe save it until after you finish the series.
