For those of you who are unaware, she and fellow film editors Richard Chu and Paul Hirsch really stepped up after Lucas fired his previous editor in the aftermath of the first cut debacle. He hired his wife and two others to go back and fix the film in the editing room. What they produced was nothing short of miraculous.

She was a huge fan of The Mandalorian, hope she got to see the movie before she passed.

RIP to the woman who was a huge reason Star Wars took off

Bro…

For what it’s worth, if she was able to watch something there’s no doubt she got an advanced copy. Assuming she had any interest.

In defense of Disney, Hans death was stipulated by Ford. He didn’t want to come back if it didn’t also begin to cut him out of the series.

The original rough script for ROTJ had him sacrificing himself to save the team to complete his character arc. But Lucas didn't want his toy lusting child audience to see Han Solo die plus Wrath of Kahn beat them to the punch with a similar heroic death for Spock. Ford was always pissed they didn't let Han die for the greater good and instead went with the gang having an Ewok dance party to end the trilogy.
