So many movies come out every year in March and April that just get overlooked. There’s 3 movies out right now I want to see, three movies coming out next week I want to see.

Feel this happens every year

I always thought it was February, which was always weird to me...as a release date.

To name a few....

Passion of the Christ (kinda makes sense before Easter)

Silence of the Lambs
Blazing Saddles
Wayne's World
Payback
Footloose
Old School
Ace Ventura, Pet Detective
Groundhog Day
Witness
Miracle
The Breakfast Club
Pretty in Pink
Some Kind of Wonderful
Donnie Brasco
Falling Down
Bill & Ted's Excellent Adventure
Happy Gilmore
Billy Madison
The Burbs
Planet of the Apes (1968)
L.A. Story
Taxi Driver
The Warriors
Blame it on Rio

They havent had shite in theatres so far this year. I've only gone to see 2 movies so far this year which is light for me. Dune 2 and One Love. That changes this weekend though with civil war and monkey man coming out

Eh… they’ve had stuff. Best movies ever? No. Stuff worth watching, yes.

I’ve only seen 3 so far.
Late night with the devil - was interesting.
Out of Darkness - problematic but beautiful
Dune 2 - obviously

I meant more recently. Seems like the last couple of years, April has been all sorts of odd

2023: beau is afraid, Renfield, evil dead rise

2022: the unbearable weight of massive talent, everything everywhere at once, the Northman, ambulance
