I remember BB's dialogue being pretty decent, as far as a comic book movie goes...

No, I'm not. BB is the film that lured me back into the comic book realm years after I quit reading them.

How is the script bad? The story is amazing, intriguing and uniquely original. The entire narrative structure is perfect. The plot itself is great. Other than Watchmen and The Dark Knight, I can't think of another comic book story that can rival it. You can't honestly sit there and say with all sincerity that BB isn't one of the greatest superhero stories ever told. It truly separates itself from the rest of the comic book stories.

I'll concede the dialogue in many scenes is campy, but that seems to be the problem with most of Nolan's films. But he makes up for it in the story and directing department.

He's referring to the "I've gotta get me one of those" lines, which I tend to agree him on.

Just judging by the narration and dialogue it sounds like the story might be about the world finding out that Clark is Superman and they hunt him and he becomes an outcast because he's different and they see him as a threat to the human race. Of course naturally a greater evil will pop up and Clark will defend Earth.

That sounds awesome

We were really close this year to having Batman, James Bond, and Superman (which was supposed to be in December).

That would've been the trifecta for me.

I never said it was a bad movie, it's good, but its script is filled with bad dialogue and a terrible third act that almost completely derails the whole movie, and even some of the cast have acknowledged this.

Just because the story is iconic doesn't mean that the script nails it -- it's wonky in doing so, i.e., he goes from clumsily jumping off rooftops in a ski mask to being a full-fledged Batman that moves with impeccable grace that destroys half of Gotham in the Tumbler.

I see Batman Begins is a trial run that leads up to TDK. Begins isn't a bad film, but the film was rushed, and the sometimes goofy script depresses it.

Link?

I thought the third act was solid. Liam Neeson is a great Ra's

In an interview I saw online with Caine about TDK, he stated that there would be no third act problems like the ones in BB. I doubt I can find a link.

It's cool that you like it, but the third act has become infamous -- from Crane's lame departure, Gordon becoming Batman's goofy sidekick, "it's gonna blow!", and Batman going against his first rule, it's a mess.

For everyone that begging for more action out of a Superman movie, more and more good news is coming out.

I guess this could be a spoiler to some so here's some spaces:

The Superman Returns film was criticised by fans for its lack of action scenes, fights, feats of super strength and the like.

No one doubted that Zack Snyder would reverse that. But I have been told details of one specific scene in particular, in which Superman breaks apart a building and uses the building itself as a weapon in some kind of ‘super martial art’ fashion. “Girders as throwing stars” was the specific example I was given

I have a gut feeling that this movie is going to be too over the top in typical Zack Snyder fashion.

I'm hoping for something in between what Singer did and what Snyder normally does.

He's a troll. Just ignore him. He bashes Batman any chance he gets. Notice he's in most Batman threads saying something negative.

People who were at CC said it doesn't look like your typical Snyder film (comical CGI, slow/fast motion fight sequences, etc.). Said it appears to be a normal film.

this is probably thanks to Nolan and company.

I'm excited to see the footage from the trailer tomorrow night.

The villain is gonna be General Zod so it sounds like they're gonna do the big city fight scene from Superman 2.
