I still don't even remember this shark
It was in the water next to the raft that Michael, Sawyer, and Jin were on right after Walt was kidnapped by Tom, it was actually in Season Two. I think this maybe the first time anyone can actually see the Dharma logo.

I remember the scene, but not the logo on the shark. But, I've seen a lot of episodes since then. Maybe I thought it was really cool then, I just don't remember.
I wonder how many things I've seen in this show and thought "Wow, that's something I should remember," then forgot?

If you just start, this problem will resolve itself. You will watch a season every 3 ot 4 days. It happened to me... and many more.
The main reason I dont want to get caught up with the show is that Im gonna be trying to watch it non-stop which will mess with everything else that is going on right now.
Who knows, maybe ill get started on it, but I doubt it. There are 4 seasons I missed with about 20 episodes a season. Each lasting 1 hour. Thats ALOT of catching up to do.

Just wait until you have time and watch them all in order. It is worth it. BTW, seasons 3-5 are shorter seasons than the first 2.

you cant just get hyped by watching 10 episodes... you gotta watch the entire series!

Missing "The Constant" and "The Variable"
The Constant and the Variable's rules are established in "Flashes Before Your Eyes". They tweek them slightly, but all 3 follow the same principles. The ones I listed all introduced new huge concepts to the show.

The shark was already answered indirectly
Same way polar bears was answered...
Dharma research
I hate those clowns that need everything directly spoonfed to them. People were still wondering where the Polar Bears came from in Season 5.

I honestly wish I could stop time and watch all of them, but I just dont have the time. It would take me all month to watch season 2, and then id probably get tired of wasting my time watching a scify show. I blame myself for not watching LOST in the past.
Watch an episode a day. That should get you up to date before the series finale. Don't start with the season 6 finale or you will have no clue what the hell is going on.

I think Farraday's theory was that each person had their own constant, Desmond being his maybe?. People in general are the variables, in his latest theory. I prefer'd the original, "You can't change anything" theory, and I thought it was proven over and over again. I hope this doesn't really change, but ... who knows.
