To those who can't see Jacob or talk to him perhaps it is hell. Similar to the concept of hell being eternity apart from God.

Since you haven't been watching the past few years, Hell has been directly dismissed on the show.

only a few hours away now. i hope this episode is great but the teaser for it just didn't really draw me in. looks like richard will only make 1 revelation and they will give us the run around for 45 minutes. i could easily be wrong tho because i think it could be interesting to hear everything richard knows about the island

RIchard will say the island isn't what you think it is and then he will make broad allusions to other things he's seen. You will be left holding the bag again. book it.

I have no clue how they are going to explain the island....either some type of paradise or something like a gameboard for some higher powers

No matter how good or average or awesome the episode is tonight... everyone will claim it is the best ever because it's in your heads. I'm looking forward to tonight as much as anyone, but I get excited for every episode.

There was like a single quote from the episode. The episodes where they try to reveal nothing in the trailer are usually the best ones, and unlike Sundown (which took it over the top), you know why they aren't revealing anything. This episode will be like "Flashes Before Your Eyes" and "The Life and Death of Jeremy Bentham" where it will have like 5 minutes of on-Island stuff and the rest being flashback, mostly in the middle.

Thanks. It would be funnier if it was trimmed down to just Locke looking at her and slapping her over and over again.

Actually, I've found the reverse to be true, the exception being "Through the Looking Glass". Whenever an episode is supposed to be simply incredible, than people are harsher on it.

i have taken it easy on my criticisms for this season up to this point, mainly because im just enjoying the ride. listening to podcasts and reading the interviews I have faith that the producers are going to do the show justice in the end. from here on out its go time!

I don't think the island is hell...it's hell for Richard (not aging, watching others die).

What else could he and cooper have in common?

By the way, the reviewers averaged together gave this episode a 9.6, the highest out of all the Season Six episodes so far.

I'm sorry, I mean what philosophies do they share.

Unless you consider dieing on a ship a shared
philosophy
