Being left alone and searching for her family or even a family, the closest person she found as a family was han and finn - who got killed and maimed respectively. She was hoping to find a mentor in Luke and got largely turned away from what she was looking for with his attitude. Despite all that she shows resilience and maintains a strong outlook still attempting to turn kylo back to the light.
Hell she thought she had succeeded in that only to have him disappoint her as well.

Those are external things.
So what internal conflict is she facing?

Maybe internal conflict is the wrong word. But she is searching for acceptance and for a family but keeps getting turned back for whatever reason. To say she is successful in everything isn't really true based on what i mentioned above. She is unsuccessful at what matters most to her - it is an emotional thing so i called it internal conflict.
I'd view the battle against the dark side as an external conflict and a search for a family / emotional thing as internal. But it doesn't really matter in the end how its classified.

Yeah internal conflict isnt what you are describing. They absolutely could have used her family to cause some internal conflict...say if palpatine was her grandfather...or snoke and she was really actually conflicted about the dark side . Maybe her family could have been in peril and she would have been conflicted about whether to go rescue them or go help the resistance. Listen, you liked part of the movie. Its a free country, no one is gonna judge you if you if you go buy the blue ray.
We can agree to disagree.

You seemed to disagree with my characterization of RJ's choices in TLJ as sabotage. But the word is very hard to escape.
He scuttled all of the plots Abrahms set into motion. His plot choices left behind an incoherent story with few obvious avenues for the next director to repair fan interest.
The effects appear to have been exceptionally damaging when it comes to Blu Ray sales and toys - both of which are enormously important parts of the Star Wars brand value. And now we see long time fans staying home in surprisingly high numbers from Solo when the word of mouth is pretty positive on the balance.
As bad as the prequels were they didn't harm the brand value. It took RJ directing TLJ to do that.
