Legendary to challenge WarnerBrothers on HBO-max streaming release. It’s their movie & Legendary wants it to be shown in theatres, not direct to homes.
This should be interesting to see how it plays out.

Godzilla does look more spikey than before, for what ever that's worth. I think some of the earlier art of Kong w/ his neck beard looks to be exaggerated. Unless there's a time jump somewhere.

Legendary has come out with some graphic novel stories which fill in the gaps for both Godzilla and Kong, leading up to the movie. I generally don't bother w/ such stuff, but might be interesting to see. Don't know how much, or if of any of it will be referenced in the movie though.

As well they should and as well it should be. Movies like this weren’t made for lip dick 60 inch screens.
And the creative for the movie said there would be a clear winner when they announced the movie and have maintained that.
And it will be Godzilla.

It’s going to end in a tie. Godzilla will have Kong pinned down, near death. It will be a worthy fight but Godzilla will come out on top. As Godzilla has Kong pinned down we will see Kong’s agonizing face with tears in his eyes, knowing he is near death. The audience will start feeling sadness, the PTSD of watching Kong die again will overwhelm the audiences. Just as Godzilla is about to go for the deathblow, Kong mutters one last word.....Martha. Godzilla gets angrily confused and starts screaming back “WHY DID YOU SAY THAT NAME?!!?!” Godzilla spares Kong and they go on to fight Mechagodzilla in the climax of the movie.
