Dude has survived countless battles, White Walkers, Red Woman, crazy arse Stannis and hes still ticking. Always brings great counsel to anyone who needs it.
One of the best characters in the show and books IMO and extremely well acted by Liam Cunningham.

I am certain that he will be killed in the books. Will continue to enjoy every chapter of his to the bitter end, though.

He put the boat at the exit of the tunnel. Guess he didn't get any sleep the night before the big battle.

Tormund, Bronn, and Davos are my three favorite characters. They are the most direct, deliberate and dare I say honest characters on the whole show.

I think when Tyrion told Jon about the bells, just before the battle, Davos starts walking off in opposite direction...I think he got the boat then.
