Just watched the season finale for "Godless".....

Holy smoke, one of the best evah.....GoT good.....I assume there will be a season 2 cause this one was OUTSTANDING!

I'm not saying they wouldn't, but it had some big, regularly working names attached to it and it's been classified as a Limited Series for awards consideration. I think you only get the one season.

Guess that shows you how much I know about actors....only ones I recognize were Jeff Daniels and didn't Sam Waterston play the murdered marshall? Never heard of any others.

Usually the first seasons of Netflix shows kill it and the endings are great.
Than it gets too expensive to keep it going and it's all downhill from there.
I still get pissed about Bloodline all the time.

Watch the last episode and see if it's worth a look if there is a season 2....it won't be a waste of your time.

Interestingly, I watched Godless and then the Magnificent Seven for the first time not long after. Pretty similar storylines. I was bored with MS. Godless was way better.

I finished the series two days ago and hate that it is over.Final episode was something else and makes me think it would be hard for a second season to equal .

Godless made me want more modern westerns. I’ve never sees deadwood so I started that. Nothing really similar except that it’s set in the same general time frame and “the West”
Any better suggestions would be great
