Interesting choice for the killers. Not sure I would’ve went with they did. It was cool seeing Matthew Liiliard back, though.

Didn’t hate it. Felt like a decent iteration of the franchise. Wife hated though. “They didn’t have to kill the people in the manner that they did.”

The beer tap kill was a bit over the top, but overall, I don’t think it’s the worst installment.

Definitely one of the worst if not the worst reveals and motivations for the killers in the franchise.

The AI stuff with stu was also so cringe. Would’ve been better just to bring him back as the killer

Watched on a flight the other day... was very meh.

Don't think I've thought one was good since the first couple. Its the Fast and Furious of thriller movies, just gets more and more outrageous. So many ridiculous scenes: The dad cop just bleeds out for hours upon hours and is still alive? The daughter shoots the killer from the locked office and instead of staying there until Sidney arrives, she decides to exit only for the killer to not be dead, etc...

Wish Lillard's return would have been real

Scream is like Jurassic Park. One amazing movie and then a bunch of shitty sequels along various spectrums of shite. Although the Scream franchise in total is vastly inferior to the JP franchise.

Saying this is the worst Scream movie ever is an insult I don't think people properly appreciate.

Thought it was the worst in the franchise. Felt very rushed and not well put together. I didn’t mind Lillard at all, that might have been the only enjoyable part.

Probably the worst one in the series. Didn't care for it at all. Horrible reveal.

Whoever the hell cut up Courtney Cox face should be in jail.

Scary movie 1 and 2 did to scream what Dewey Cox did to the blockbuster musical biopic.

I think the whole era is spawned (what I call "Millennial Horror") also saturated the market. Meta is clever when done intelligently, but has the opposite effect when done repetitively. The fact that this reboot of the franchise leaned so heavily into it was just terrible. The irony is that they're restrained by the paradigms of the franchise, which gives an opening for an applicable meta commentary. The OG meta worked b/c it was commenting on the formulaic style of horror of the 80s, really, and the formulaic style of Scream is now ripe for being ripped apart.

*ETA: they don't do that now b/c this is nothing more than a fan service vehicle at this point.

Scream 7 is the first film in the franchise that I legitimately disliked.

Her face was the real murder. Even she hated it.

Easily the worst of the series.

The killers made no sense.

Refraining from spoilers but, was hoping for more from a few of the characters. Why even have the second victim in the movie?

If they were going to make a shitty movie, at least let the hot chicks get naked. Some quality racks but, not a single topless scene?

Their franchise plan got thrown off because nobody in particular may or may not run the entertainment industry and you can't talk bad about them.

Sorry, not sorry... was already spoiled with the Stu AI stuff above my post and I didn't reveal the killer or anything pertinent to the story line
