Just started episode 9, season 2 of Westworld

Ok, I get it, this season isn't as good as the last one. Honestly though, it's always hard following something as good as season 1 was, this is still pretty good TV.
It reminds me of season 3 of fringe, or season 3 of person of interest, both followed some of the best TV ever and felt flat. Westworld just pulled that off in season 1. I'm really looking forward to the last 2 episodes, and so far if the show goes where I think it's going, season 3 will be phenomenal

Gtfo with that. S2 of westworld wasnt nearly as good as the 1st, same as True Detective, but S2 of Westworld had some phenomenal episodes in themselves and set up S3 nicely. S2 of Westworld basically got the show canceled.

I think he meant true detective season 2, since it went on hiatus for 4 years and was basically "rebooted" in hopes that people would forget season 2.
Just finished, it wasn't season 1, but it was still good TV, frick the haters. Can't wait for season 3
ETA: minus the after credit scene, this would have actually been a great finale to the first season - flaws and all

I thought both True Detective S3 AND Westworld S2 were good in their own right.
