Another debased, pathetic, drug-driven pseudo comedy that fails at being comic. Generations will look back at the last fifteen years and wonder why we didn't have a sense of humor. Immorality, stupidity, and drugs are not what make comedy, but they command the comic genre today for some unknown reason.

It's more of a joke, but very, very rare when people know the reference.

It's a shame. This movie board, sadly, is more about the Hangovers, Transformers, and Harry Potters of cinema, which is a shame because by limiting their viewing to lowest common denominator blockbusters, they're depriving themselves of some great movies.

What are your five favorite comedies, lilly?

BTW, Midnight in Paris is a LOT funnier than Horrible Bosses.

Nevermind, you find Woody Allen funny. This explains a lot.

True, but if it's relatable for the viewer, it makes the situation that much funnier.

that was only in one scene of Horrible Bosses. It's not like they relied on the cocaine humor for the whole thing

exactly. the rest of the "humor" was of the pooh-pooh-pee-pee-vagina-penis variety

I legitimately could not name five favorite anything. I really enjoyed Horrible Bosses, but I understand what you mean about the immature humor. That's why I didn't like Easy A...I thought it was too immature and desperate. And totally unrealistic.

I agree with this. The Hangover was hilarious, for me, because I've woken up on mornings and not remembered what happened, piecing together the night with various clues (my camera).

I have a wide appreciation for just about any comedy. Except Easy A.

While I appreciate your dislike of Easy A and its ridiculous attempt to be a nouveau 80's movie, your appreciation for Hangover has forced me to take back the engagement ring I just purchased for you at Adler's. I hope you'll understand.
