oh ok, so she should just continue whoring out her children.

Try to imagine, for one second, what it must be like to come home from school everyday to an enviornment where you know you will constantly be filmed and everything is staged. These kids probably like being at school better where they know they can say and do things they want without being told it isn't good for the cameras. Additionally, can you imagine what it must be like to go to school with your peers who watch your every move on television and see how you pooped on the floor when you were potty training, threw a fit because you didn't get the costume you wanted, and on and on. I know it seems like normal stuff but I am sure that there are bullies who like to pick on them. Thats detrimental.

I don't care about their "not having enough money" to raise that many kids. THEN DON'T HAVE THAT MANY KIDS. IT WAS AN OPTION EITHER WAY YOU SWING IT. You know you have a huge chance of having multiples when you use fertility. This is the chance you take. There are tons of other people out there who have eight kids and survive on two average incomes. It can be done. Kate just didn't want to life that hard lifestyle.

I don't think many people will. I saw a preview for next week and she's sitting on a beach with that pain in the arse Maddie kid looking all depressed.

I think she can kiss her book deals and show goodbye. I read somewhere that she was hoping to get a talk show...she's not much on personality, so I don't know why she thought that would happen.

Maddie definitely shows the signs of what her mom is doing to these kids the most. I remember on one show they said "she never really has learned to deal with having that many brothers and sisters all at once." Well I guess not! I don't know how most people would deal with going from the apple of your parent's eye (or dollar sign of kate's eye) to never being noticed because of 6 infants.

I feel most sorry for the twins. They are the ones who had their worlds rocked the most from the multiples and then on top of it all, they are also getting whored out because of their brothers and sister's birth that led to the creation of the show.

You can grow up in a trailer park and then in life be sucessful. I have seen it be done.
I can't speak for myself about "growing up" in a trailer park, but have seen plenty people who have who are now in 2 or 3 hundred thousand dollar houses with a good job.

Exactly. Because they have the drive and determination to make this work. Kate has this, but she is just a bitch about it. She can't stop seeing dollar signs. In 4 years they have moved 3 times. What the hell was wrong with their second house? Oh, not enough granite and hardwood floors...

Yea, they seemed to make it fine in the second house...

He'll they were okay in the first house. Just a lack of space, which is understandable.

I didn't say this...but it isn't our decision either. I don't think she is hurting any of them, and if the twins don't want to be on TV, then she should have it wrote in on the contract for the twins not to be videotaped.
I was in school as a kid also, and every kid get's picked on whether your own TV or not. I am not saying it's right, but I have seen worse things to deal with.

You are correct, it was a chance they took, but I don't really think they were expecting to have 6 at one time. I am sure that was a shocker to them.

I don't know anybody with that many kids, so I can't say anything about that. I do know it would be very hard to turn down a lot of money to take care of my family though.

She needed the house to be big enough for her own private section to get away from everyone after she got back from abandoning her kids while on book tours. Besides, Jon needed his own quarters, as well. We both know she probably kicked him out of the bedroom a long time ago.

It was an ok size house, but the kids get bigger, then that house would have not been big enough for all 10 of them! I mean they can barely all walk in that kitchen without being on top of each other. And then the living room wasn't big at all. I think they made a great decision to move into a bigger house...but bigger issues leads to bigger problems.

There's a difference between making money to care for a family, and making money to buy a million dollar home, sports cars, etc.

I have a question. Have you watched this show from the bare beginnings? I have seen every season, including the first few episodes where she was piloting to get the show.

She BEGGED for this show.

And if you sit here and say this show isn't going to affect the children you are so, so wrong. I would say this type of lifestyle is worse than being a child actor/actress. At least those kids could go home to a house that did NOT have cameras. These kids only know growing up around cameras and having to please production people by being cute. Its clear that you are not even considering the psychological affects this is going to have on all the children while only considering that you think they are cute and entertaining. You are what makes them money.

Look at what the kid's cuteness bought mommy! This pretty new BMW that sure does seem like a necessity with having 8 kids! I guess this is what she is going to bring her 8 children to school in?

We were getting into a discussion about the monday episode last night so we watched the part where they are on the sofa.

Go back and listen to it, she always says...MY kids. Jon always said, OUR kids.

Yeah, Kate needs a bunch of bodyguards since she is so famous now.

Poor thing, how hard a life it must be for her to have someone watching her kids for her all the time while she runs around town in her BMW or is flying all over the country selling a book that tells other people how to raise multiples. She hasn't even raised them yet!

10 years from now there will be an E-Hollywood story on how fricked up those kids are.

If Kate really gave a shite, she'd stop with the cameras. Jon clearly feels this way. He wants them gone, but Kate is obsessed with money and fame. So much so, that it will destroy her marriage and children.

They've likely made a few million dollars by now. They don't need the money anymore. If one of them got a job they'd be able to live a nice lifestyle from here on out. They would still likely be able to cash in on their celeb status with speaking engagements and books. It just doesn't need to be a 24-7 thing where they're (mainly Kate) away from the kids.

But that would mean less limelight. And Kate can't have that.
