I'm just getting around to listening to Simmons' podcast.
Holy shite

these Guidos dont seem to have the same anger management issues that Tommy and Charlie have
They are very chill and laid back Guids which is a nice change of pace

yeah, they prob knew they had to cast guys that possibly survive an entire season. Put 5 alpha-guidos in the same house and they all get kicked off the first time they all get drunk.

This show= A fail in my book.
Posted on 12/12/09 at 5:01 pm to Mastermind
i will say that it starting taking on more of a real world drama angle than i had hoped. I wanted raw, uncut guido goodness.
Posted on 12/12/09 at 5:12 pm to el tigre
they definitely went for a watered down real world with guidos. i think thats why they got them poughkeepsie and rhode island instead of wherever Tommy hails from. They should've putten at least one alpha guido and why in the frick are they not replacing Angelina with the biggest poof hair guidette in the world already?

Are they going to have another season of this show?

we heard you the first time, fig.
Why are you posting in the thread if the show is such a fail?

Honestly, the Rhode Island guys are probably the roughest bunch, but they just found one of the most easygoing Italian-Americans in the Northeast when they cast Pauly D. When I saw his haircut and that he was from Rhode Island, I figured he was going to be some mobbed up maniac, but he's pretty much the opposite.

they need to find someone to fill her spot
I wish they would let Michelle H from Tommy's show move in. Girl is hot, plus she would be "pretty much like the mother of the house".

the other michelle prolly has a tough time fitting into today's guido world because if you put your iron over the embroidered gold skull heads of an affliction it probably ruins the shirt.
I'd have to imagine the ratings for Jersey Shore are pretty legit for mtv standards. The only way they dont have season 2 is if they bow down further to the anti-Sopranos league of Italians.

Agreed, but I am already scared that MTV is going to wimp out on future seasons. It can't be a good sign that they edited out Snickers getting LeGarrette Blounted'd next week

i don't know. Pauly had the right look, but he is a little too old to do prime time stupid shite.
I can't believe they didn't look out their office windows and across the Hudson River at Sandbar....prime midweek stomping ground for north jersey guidos looking to get their fist pump on when they can't get "down the shore".
LINK
this place is magical.
i am REALLY disapointed there are no guidos from Jersey City or Jersey City Heights in this show.

I am pretty sure that Thomas is from Northern NJ, not Staten Island.
