I honestly hope they keep making it because I still find it mildly entertaining. But I know it sucks regardless.

Making the hero a socialist type reformer and the villain an unbridled capitalistic nationalist is pretty annoying. I ignore most political messaging in entertainment, but when the setting delivers you something on a silver platter (Venezuela the torn up shithole suffering from a couple decades of corrupted socialism) and you entirely turn it around - that's lame.

It was sort of like tobacco-to-guns in Runaway Jury. Just some stupid attempt to appease some class of people who probably won't watch anyway that weakens the relevance of the show/movie.
