Ah shite, I forgot about the helicopter gunship shooting up the penthouse scene. And then, instead of going into hiding, Zasa is just walking around the streets of NYC during the festival.
Those are the epitome of “WTF is this doing in a Godfather movie” scenes.

It's an embarrassing money grab. Everybody talks about Sofia Coppola but very rich movie folks thought it was a good idea to have Al Pacino show up with a white flat top and play raging Al Pacino instead of Michael Corleone. It's like a spoof

Cousins hook up, its a thing. It was strange they were kind of open about it. But its really not that odd. Especially in a huge Italian family.
My biggest gripe about the movie in the interactions between Michael and Kay. I wanted him to hate her and talk smack to her. Plus I wanted him to have more kids. I know Sonny had a ton of kids (legal and not) and Connie has a few. So there are those to carry on the family. But it would have been cool if Michael had more..
